"I needed a standard size driveway gate with a side panel extension to join up to my neighbor's wooden fence. After high bids from two of the higher ranked companies on Angie's List ($1895.00 & $1400.00), I was convinced I was going to have to install this gate myself.  I tried H & H Chain Link Fencing at the last minute, and am so glad I did. Roger initially scheduled an estimate appointment on a Thursday evening. He called early in the day to ask if we could re-schedule to Saturday morning, as rain had slowed his current project down, and he wanted to get that finished as quickly as possible. He was 10 minutes early on Saturday, and gave me a fantastic bid on a fencing project I was considering (again, a fraction of the other places), and gave me an estimate of the driveway gate, with the promise to call back with the firm price. He did so, calling later that evening. <br /> <br /> Within the day of agreeing to start, Roger was at my house, installing the poles (Wednesday). On the phone, he told me it would be another day until he could get the gates installed, which was fine. Instead, he installed them a day earlier - he looked forward in the forecast, which called for rain through the weekend, and decided to get them done instead of making me wait another 4 - 5 days. <br /> <br /> The gates look and work great, keeping my dogs and kids in the driveway/yard area, and I am so happy with Roger and his work. I highly recommend this gentleman for any fencing project."

"Bob at AAA did a great job with our electronic fencing. He took the time to educate us on the nuances of the subject, then installed the fencing right on time and on budget. Our dogs figured out the system very quickly, and we haven't actually had to use the electronic collars for a couple of years now. "Great. This is the second time I have hired Houlihan Fence. Last tone was for a privacy fence for our old house, now we have moved and needed another fence. "I met with four contractors and Dave Wibbenmeyer of Outdoor Living was definitely the one who took the most time to explain his company and how they worked. He also listened the most to our questions and what we wanted. Though his initial proposal was not what I had in mind - when I e-mailed him a drawing of what I wanted, he was able to give me a bid nearly the same as the original proposal and the finished deck turned out to be exactly what we had in mind. <br /> <br /> In selecting the materials to use for the decking and rail, we loved that we could go to their Kirkwood store and see displays of large areas of the materials we wanted- rather than base our decision on a tiny square block sample. We upgraded to the Timbertech because we felt it looked very real compared to a less expensive product we were looking at. Going to the showroom also helped us visualize what the black rail would look like. Though our salesperson, Dave, was not there that day, the person in the store was expecting us and was very helpful. <br /> <br /> I put money down on the construction in January and they were ahead of schedule getting to the building. A mild winter and getting in early contributed, I'm sure. <br /> <br /> I didn't really watch them work much, just looked at the deck primarily after the workers were gone each day, and though I'm no expert, everything looked to be built very solid and the craftsmanship was excellent. We have yet to find any problems with the finished deck - pretty much looks perfect to us. We had a bit of a challenge for them to make the steps from the deck meet up with our pool deck, which involved moving the end of a retaining wall - and they were able cut the retaining wall blocks, pour a concrete pad for the step landing that that ended up being a better solution than thought we might be getting. <br /> <br /> The project manager was Darren McDaniel and he was very good at answering questions I ad throughout the process, offering good advice when decisions needed to be made and kept us informed throughout the project. I didn't really get to know the carpenters, but they seemed nice enough and worked very steadily. If they made any mistakes, Darren caught it before I ever did and everything looked great when they were done. <br /> <br /> This was a great experience and we love our new deck. I would definitely recommend Outdoor Living to anyone and also really like the looks of the Timbertech product (we chose the and quot;Walnutand quot; finish). <br />"
