"Ramirez Construction installed a concrete patio in my backyard. Working with Martin and his crew was the best experience we have ever had with a contractor. He was very professional, punctual and extremely knowledgeable. He and his crew were very neat and cared about their work. We highly recommend Ramirez Construction Company. They did a beautiful job. Thank you Ramirez Costruction Company! The Wood's!"

"The experience started off great. They made me feel like they cared about our project. The first year I noticed some small cracks here there I figure the concrete was settling. They said they come look at it after the first winter they never showed up. After the second year it started crumbling or concrete started turning to sand. I reached out to make contact with them they replied one time to me but never followed up I kept continuing to call finally I made a post on our local Facebook page and the gentleman reached out to me promise he'd come take a look in the spring spring came and never received any type of contact back. Now just 4 years later my walkway looks worse than the one I replaced. My driveway turns more and more to sand and the investment that's supposed to last me over 20 some years I doubt is going to make it to 10. Concrete is supposed to be an investment they were not the cheapest company to go with and I can't believe I wasted the money. "

FAQs for concrete delivery projects in Dearborn Heights, MI

The amount of concrete you need varies by project. One 80lb bag covers an area of about 2 square feet, for a slab 4 inches thick. Two 60lb bags of concrete cover an area of about 2 square feet for a slab that is 6 inches thick.

A truckload of concrete can usually hold a maximum of 10 cubic yards.

The cost of concrete per cubic yard depends on which brand you purchase, but usually costs about $110 for bags.

It takes about 41 bags of concrete to fill a cubic yard. Always plan to buy a few bags more than the exact required amount in case of mistakes.

To calculate the amount of concrete you need for a slab, you should find the cubic yardage of the area you will be filling. Just follow these steps:

  1. Measure the area in feet.

  2. Multiply length by width, and then by thickness.

  3. Divide the resulting number by 27 to find cubic yards.
