"Jim was prompt, easy to work with, and very hard working. Though his resume does not show it, he is a skilled carpenter. He found creative solutions to the many challenges, while being considerate of our budget. His finish and detail work is excellent. Examples, installing along brick edge of fireplace, installing new floor registers, creating invisible transitions, disguising alterations to a kitchen cabinet. We greatly appreciated his sensitivity to our living conditions (we have dogs who are part of the family) during this disruptive project. We will be hiring Jim to do additional work as soon as our budget allows. Be aware, Jim can sometimes be difficult to contact prior to beginning work."

"<p>Started later than planned. Seemed to be poor communication at the beginning but, just assumed it was start-up whoa's... </p> <p>daily work was typically 9 - 2:30 or 3. very rare an 8 hour day was put in unless I </p> <p>had pushed for completion of a step so that another contractor could come in (flooring). Quoted 1 1/2 months, took all of 3 months. Framing was quick and done well. everything after that was at a crawl. bathroom put a big wrench in the process. the drywall and ceiling (wallboard) were put in by a crew everywhere but the bathroom. the bathroom finishing was done by Pand M. it's obvious at a glance the difference in workmanship. the crew did much better. </p> <p>since completion of the job, we've had to replace/repair all the closet doors, repair ceiling vents, re-caulk the shower, all tv cable that was run has been repaired/replaced. one of the hallway doors only opens halfway.</p> <p>overall, basic construction with construction seems to be all I would recommend unfortunately. started out very promising.</p> <br />"

"Chuck and his guys have done 2 fences for my family in Bloomington/Normal in the last 3 years (we moved). They are timely, efficient, and are priced right. Both fences have been great quality, and have stood the test of time. They stuck with their promised timeline, and delivered a finished, perfect fence within 2 days each time. I can’t recommend them more! Hopefully we’re finished moving and won’t need more fencing anytime soon, but if we did I would call Ifft Quality Fencing every time!"

"I got two jobs done by this company. First they insulated my attic. I was happy with work and the communication of the team and inquired about flooring. I received a fair price. Both jobs were done in a timely manner and done well. They showed up on time every day, communicated with me throughout projects, and cleaned up every day after they left."

"Cornerstone Builders and Developers were initial recommended by Reading Plumbing to do the specialized work in the bathroom.  It was necessary to remove the shelf brace to allow the plumber to get to the underside of the faucet.  The shelf brace was an integral part of the front of the vanity.  So the work had to be done carefully so that when put back it would look like the other shelf braces in the vanity.  They did a good job and even painted it so you can not even tell it had been removed.  <br /> While having that work done, I had them put up some additional kitchen crown moulding which had not been done when the house was built.  It was for a couple of small areas.  The work was complicated by trying to get it to match up completely with the already installed pieces.  The carpenter did a great quality job and spent extra time to make sure it was done right.  He also painted the pieces to assure they match all the rest of the cabinets and moulding. <br />"
