"It went extremely well.  The work was started and completed on schedule.  It was done professionally and with care.  Proprietors, Zack and Bri were very pleasant to work with.  Its nice working and communicating directly with the owners.  Matt and his crew did a great job.  It was obvious they were skilled and had a methodical system for doing the work efficiently.  

There was one minor issue after the job was complete (things happen).  Zack came out to make sure the problem was corrected at his expense.  We were very pleased.

"Dan’s crew of six were at my home bright and early this morning, worked steadily, completed my small home in one day, and my roof looks great! Dan painted my chimney surround and another chimney on the roof, to match the replacement vents, and replaced some fascia so that everything looks pulled together and tidy. The guys were professional and polite, Dan checked over everything when the job was completed to insure it was up to standard, and encouraged me to call him at any time if I have questions or concerns. "I would like to recommend Washburn Construction for their fine work. Greg Washburn was refered to me by my cousin, who was having Washburn Construction, put on his roof. I needed the same. I contacted them and they were here in no time to give an estimate. The price was a fair price, very fair. The work was started in record time. Although it was about a 2 week project, every night....all ladders were stored, all trash removed, yard area raked and debris removed....EVERY NIGHT, even though they were returning the very next morning. That was something special ya don������t get with most companies. I was very, very pleased with the job Washburn Construction did on my roof. So siding was next, Washburn Construction could do that too...and they did. Again a fair price and a wonderful job. Then new vinyl windows. Then gutters. Then complete bathroom makeover, which included drywall, tile, flooring, tub install, painting and plumbing. Then a new electrical panel for the entire house. Washburn Construction has done it all. "Roof looks great! When I was looking for roofing companies in Bloomington, IL in the beginning and trying to get estimates it wasn't something I was excited about. I met with a few different roofing contractors and when I met Mark, I felt comfortable with having him and his team do the job. He offered great ideas and helped us decide on the new shingle color and style, and was always available to answer questions. "The provider requested OK from Choice Warranty and he was denied. It rained last night and rain came into my home. It could have been avoided if Choice had just approved what I requested. Now, the damage will be greater than necessary. I blame Choice home warranty for my home damage. Now it will cost mote than a simple tarp could have prevented until I could get money to repair roof. The provider was great and tried his best to get something done to my roof but Choice Warranty was horrible and no help. They get a "zero" from me"

"We used SAL to do tile work in our kitchen.  We needed 7 new windows in the back of our house due to some storm damage as well as new cedar siding.  We live in an older home and come to find out the old windows were covered in lead paint.  Obviously this made us very nervous and concerned and we wanted this lead issue corrected immediately.  SAL has all the certification to handle LEAD abatement and successfully removed and replaced our windows.  The windows were done in conjunction with the siding on the back of the house. Our house is mainly brick on the front and sides. We had cedar clap siding that was damaged by a storm on the back of the house. SAL suggested that we use cement siding to replace the damaged cedar. SAL & his crew did a wonderful job, not only installing the windows & siding but cleaning up. They actually cleaned my entire house from top to bottom with special vacuums and cleaners to ensure the lead dust was removed. We are so pleased with SAL & his crew. At first we thought the price was high but after seeing all the extra work it takes to deal with lead we are confident the price was fair. Thanks again and job well done.
