"When I called I expected there to be a long delay in getting someone out to look at our furnace but they arranged a visit the same day and the tech was right on time. After doing some troubleshooting he determined that the gas valve was not opening and he ordered a part. The tech returned a day or two later and replaced the gas valve and our heat works perfectly now. <br /> I did not call around for other estimates so I don't know for sure if i could have gotten it done cheaper but some of my neighbors have told me that Countryside was more expensive than other service providers. Personally I'd rather pay a little more for professional work and I would absolutely call them again for any heating or plumbing problems. <br />"

"Jamie has helped us on numerous occasions pertaining to plumbing from a small leak to a full remodel. We have appreciated the professional, prompt and friendly service he has provided us through the past 14 years. I have always felt their prices have been fair.... even when we have had water or AC emergencies during a holiday or a extremely hot day :) We will continue to contact Jamie at Pipe Pros for all future plumbing needs."

"Plumbing to anyone.h all the needed equipment and had the line which was more than six feet underground beneath the concrete driveway.  The work was completed in less than half a day, under the bid price.  He recommended a very good concrete man and we are back to normal.  Great experience, would recommend Premier plumbing to anyone. <br />"

"It went very well. After a bit of a wait, I received a very comprehensive report of 88 specific items as well as bacteria, fungi and particles. Each Item detected over the EPA drinking water limits had an explanation sheet. Also provided was a contact person at the company to address any questions you had about the report findings. I thought the service was well worth the $300 just for the peace of mind. I intend to use the company on an annual basis going forward."

"My water heater started leaking. Another company came out on Saturday, stopped the leak, told me I needed a new water heater, and charged over $200. They said putting a new one in (no charge for the water heater because it was on warranty) would cost around $1000 and take all day (because it was complicated by in-floor heating). Troy from Johnson Quality Plumbing put in the new water heater for $338 and they were done by noon."

"I discovered my 10 year old water heater had developed a pretty good leak and called the branch located in Hudson, WI. Brian answered my call and he was very attentive to my needs, quoted me a better price than I was finding elsewhere, and was able to schedule an install in a very short time. I really appreciated his help and understanding of my situation. The install went great and my new water heater is functioning as it should! I'm definitely a repeat customer should the need arise!"

"I provided a budget of $500 for labor and a maximum of $500 for cabinets and countertop.  I was promised this was no problem.  I purchased the cabinets and told him to pick them up when he got the countertop.  He proposed a oak shelf for part of the countertop.  I told him Ok as long as it is within budget.  He installed everything and the oak shelf looks beautiful.  I received the bill for over $588 in materials and $1500 for labor.  Obviously it exceeded all approved budgets.  I did not pay he bill in full."

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Deer Park, WI

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
