"I called Steve for a minor issue, which he resolved in about 3 minutes.  While he was there, I showed him some lighting fixtures that I wanted installed (assuming he wouldn't have time that day, as I'd only booked him for the small issue), but he said he was available to take care of it immediately if I wanted.  I was pleased by his work.  He was very careful about keeping everything as clean as possible when he worked, and his helper offered to vacuum up for me when they were finished (my light fixture came in a box with crumbling styrofoam, some of which spilled on the floor when the box was opened).   He was also concerned about doing a good and safe job (our old fixture wasn't particularly well secured into the wall, and so he was able to address that issue when putting in the new fixture).  He made sure his finish work looked professional, and even ensured we had the proper bulbs for the fixtures.  He worked quickly and was friendly, as well.  I felt like I got good value for my money.  I would use him again. <br />"

"My hallway and dining room lights suddenly when out. Circuit breaker appeared not to be tripped (no flag or tripped lever). One of Electric Solutions electricians; Bruce arrived on time and performed his trial and error testing to find the root cause. Bruce was very cordial and even wore shoe booties coming into my home after the rain. After various testing, it turns out the circuit breaker did not display the red flag for the given circuit and was actually tripped. Bruce gave me instructions to mark each breaker and double check all breakers in case the red flag did not fully display. I am very happy the lights are back on and would recommend Electric Solutions for their expertise and value."

"Appointment for estimate was made for the day after initial contact. The written estimate was received within a week. The patio was in bad enough shape that Nature's Call did not feel comfortable doing a repair on someone else's bad work. So the estimate was for replacing the pavers, adding fill, re-tamping, and some landscaping of a medium flower bed. We are moving so it was more financially than we wanted to take on. We might use this company in different circumstances, but since we are moving we will not have the opportunity. <br />"

"<p>We had been experiencing two problems related to basement drainage.</p> <p>1. We had been experiencing water in our basement seeping in from under the block wall where it met the poured concrete floor of the basement and from a corner window that is below grade, but protected by a French drain window well.  I had previously installed a 4" PVC pipe to conduct the water from a downspout just outside the window and sloped it away from the corner by about 8 feet.  That worked for a while, but during very heavy downpours, I still had water seeping into the corner of the basement.</p> <p>2. For several winters during hard freezes the discharge pipe from our basement sump pump would freeze up.  The pump would run continuously and, if I had not been paying attention, the basement would have flooded.  As a temporary solution, I dropped a secondary submersible pump into the sump and pumped the discharge to a basement sink using garden hose; not exactly proper, but you do what you have to.</p> <p>Disabatino (Vinnie) visited, diagnosed both problems, performed the work listed and installing relief fittings and drain grates in the yard at the terminus of the drain lines.  The work was bid in a business like manner and was actually performed while the family was on vacation.  Upon our return, inspection showed a very neat and well finished job.  The areas where the lawn had been disturbed were well graded, dressed and seeded.</p> <p>I waited until now to provide a review to see if the work had been effective in solving the wet basement and freezing sump pump drain problem.  Today was the end of a period of single degree weather plus snow, a quick warm-up followed by local downpours.  Even with the still frozen ground, melting snow and local flooding nearby, our basement remains dry and the sump pump has run without freeze up.  All-in-all a great job and a great result.</p> <br />"

"We recently renovated our new (but old - built in 1928) home, and electric was one of the areas we shopped very hard. We received 6 different bids which varied from $12k to $30k (for the same exact work). <br /> Upon receiving such wide-ranging prices, I became nervous that if I went with a lower costing bid (Galle was not the least expensive, but definitely among the lower priced quotes), I wouldn't receive the same amount/quality of work. Therefore, I pestered John (whose quote-wording was more ambiguous) to ensure every item that was listed in the competing quotes was also included in his bid. He confirmed everything in a timely manner and ultimately we decided to go with him after hearing some funky tings about the lower-priced companies.  <br /> Everything went great, and Galle's work was exactly what we were looking for and in happened in the time frame we discussed. They were sensitive to the fact that we had plaster and lath walls and created very few holes. There were a few things they had to come back and adjust, but nothing major and John was always happy to do it (without making me feel like an annoyance).  <br /> I'd hire them again. <br />"

"Josh came out to to give me an estimate for some outdoor electrical work today and was prompt and professional. He listened to what I was looking for and gave me ideas to enhance the plan. While here he helped me with a broken lamp and even came back after he left when I realized had a problem with a circuit breaker that tripped and I could not get the appliances back on.
