"I came to the link to share it with a friend who is looking for a contractor because I wanted to recommend her to Joseph and Sons and realized I have not written my review yet. I know is a late review though the feeling is the same :) I met with Angelo in the winter of 2019 - a tree had fallen over our roof, we had damage in different areas of the house including the deck. I will make it efficient for you guys; 1. They worked around my budget and went above and beyond 2. They cleaned up after themselves every time 3. Staff was extremely respectful. No music, or Loud conversations and absolutely nice. We enjoyed getting coffee for them and sweets for late afternoon snacks. 4. They will get the job done the way you have imagined it, not the way they think is best. 5. Angelo understands your needs and will help you get as much load off your shoulders as possible. 6. Clean finishes. Sharp paint skills. Detailed focused. 7. Angelo understands how the HOI works, and all the possible ways things could end up working out, so we were always prepared and the job came to finish under the full given budget by the HOI co. 7. I hired him for a few other things at home. 8. They did; new roof, full master bath reno, master wall, second bath ceiling, guest room wall+ceiling, kids room wall + ceiling, second-floor whole-way ceiling, kitchen ceiling, deck reno + pain, AC repairs, paint outside and inside, gutters. They are truly awesome, it was a blessing from heaven having them to help us deal with so much stuff. If I have more projects to do at home I will be calling Angelo again."

The team was great while on site - I actually had another mason stop by for something else and tell me what a great job they were doing putting plastic down, keeping thing tidy, etc. when it was time to go they went above and beyond clearing unwanted foliage and taking away some extra stone. "Paul came over to inspect existing conditions and provide two options on replacement equipment. I chose to go with the Navien NCB-240E unit to replace both water heater and boiler since both were at or near the end of service life. Installation was scheduled for about 2 weeks later, and Paul's crew show up on time, and proceeded to make quick work of the demo, in a clean and safe manner. The new Navien unit hangs on a wall, and after spending the rest of the day repiping and rewiring, I was pleasantly surprised to see all the free space where my old units used to reside, and the extremely neat and compact installation now condensed in a small corner of my basement. Very please with the efficiency, cleanliness and professionalism of Paul's crew, and would definitely hire them again."

"The job went very well from start to finish.  This was an Angie's List deal of 4 man-hours for $199.   Due to the good response to the Angie's List offer, Brett had to schedule the job a few weeks out.  He contacted me in a timely manner, and showed up as promised, on time and prepared.  A week or so before Emerald Green Landscape arrived,  it had snowed and we had a spell of cold weather, so the leaves were wet and matted down.  Plus, a large part of the yard is covered with pachysandra.  They did an excellent job of overcoming these obstacles and left the place in tip top shape.  They also cut down a small tree that was storm damaged, cut the wood into firewood and stacked it -- this was beyond the scope of the job.  I am extremely pleased and would recommend Brett Pearson and Emerald Green Landscaping without reservation.
