Stephanie handles administration and marketing for the company. She was prompt and courteous in our requests for information. Jenna, using 3D software, helped us create and visualize the finished project months before the demolition and construction of our home actually began. She paid close attention to our wish list while providing a young professional’s perspective on what it would take to modernize our home. She provided attractive “Plan B” alternatives when COVID related delays forced us to look for different materials to install Chris and Troy are highly skilled construction professionals, that excel in doing quality work in an efficient manner. RHR was a great fit for our project. They understand what is needed to make a home viable for aging in place. We were very comfortable working with them. Finally, for anyone considering home renovation, it’s important to be flexible and willing to tolerate disruption when living in your house during the construction process. "I couldn't have found a better company to replace my old windows. Some are not square because of the age of my home and the Zen team, Brent and Hunter, took their time with each window, making them look beautiful inside and out. The amount I paid was what the original estimate was, so no surprises. The place is cleaner after they left than it was before! The installers were really nice guys to boot. "I had called about five plumbers and couldn't get same day service. Jason called me back within 20 minutes of my initial phone call and was able to squeeze me in (to be fair, it might not always be possible for him to do this, and had I lived somewhere else or needed something more extensive done, like a water heater replacement, it probably wouldn't have worked since he was fully scheduled). But in my case he was already going from a job from West Des Moines to Johnston, and I live along the route, to he graciously offered to swing by on his way and see if it could be quickly fixed. It turned out to be just a bad thermo-couple on the heater, something common that he keeps a supply of in his truck (at least for the common water heater brands like mine). He quickly took the old one out and put a new one in, and I was up and running with hot water again! He was friendly and I thought the price was reasonable for short notice same day service. Also, he didn't try to upsell me on anything either. He told me flat out that he tries to repair first if he can. But he was also honest with me up front and said that if it turned out to be anything other than a thermo-couple, given the age of the unit it would be best to go ahead and replace, because most other component repair jobs end up costing quite a bit more. But in my case it was just the thermo-couple, and he told me that he warranties his repair work for 30 days, and that if for some reason this doesn't fix my issue (it did) and it turns out to be something else within 30 days, he'll make it right and credit the repair charge towards the charge of the replacement job, which I thought was very reasonable. I've not had to make use of that offer though because things are working fine."
