"On or about 11/3/2021 I entered into and executed a contract with Clyde Johnson Contracting & Roofing, Inc., to install a new roof on my 91 year old mother's home. The first installment was paid on 11/15/21 to Clyde Johnson Contracting & Roofing, Inc. They begin working on the roof on 2/8/22 and advised the work was completed 2 days later on 2/10/22. Upon my inspection of the completed work the job was not completed correctly per the contract. They also forged her signature on documents to obtain a completed inspection from the inspectors for the City of South Bay. Which is now preventing my now 93 year old mother from ascertaining homeowners insurance. I reached out to advise the work was not completed per the contract entered into. I spoke to both Tim and Titus Johnson to resolve this issue. At that time both agreed to fix the roof correctly per the contract, to date nothing has been done to correct their breach of contract. No one has reached out to me since to correct this, however I am receiving bills from them. I even filed a Complaint with DBPR to resolve this matter and this company lied and said the job was completed correctly, when in actuality it was not. This company took advantage of a 93 year old woman and refuses to correct their wrong doing. Her home is unable to be insured at this time due to their lack of professionalism. I have reached out through other resources to try and get this resolved without court action, however I have been unsuccessful. This company needs to finish the job correctly per the contract, so that my mother can obtain homeowners insurance."

I told them its fresh water, not salt water. We are 20 miles away from saltwater. So he said he would get back with me. And after many months and years, 3 years to be exact, Ive been trying to get them. The information I need off of the coil of metal. So I can get the manufacturers warranty. Karen at G and G told me, that they dont keep that number. So, I cant prove who made the metal and who I talked to about the warranty. Ive got $33,000 invested in this roof. And now, they tell me they sold the business and the new owner does not responsible for anything that had done. Jamie, the shop foreman told me that I did have a problem with the roof, and he tried to get me information. He never came through. So, Im left stuck. "

"My contractor recommended Jim He placed a call and Jim came over a few hours later. I was expecting to have to replace whole section of shingles, Jim took a look and recommended we just repair (seal up) some rusted nails too close to the shingle edge. After next heavy rain still had a small leak, he came right over and expanded the area sealing up some additional poorly placed nails, at no extra charge. All good since then. I will have Jim quote on roof replacement in a few years."
