"I bought a home in Madison Heights in 2012. It was built in 1959. I didnâ t know until recently why it was cold in certain area of my house. I was referred by a friend/contractor to Tom with Dana Insulation. Tom came out on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. He said there are a few places where heat is lost. The attic, basement (where the top wall meets the house called the shoulder. Tom went up in my attic and said there was decent insulation but it should have more. While he was there he recommended a few roof vents due to air circulation problems. (I had no soffit vents). He then noticed my bathroom exhaust fan only vented into the attic but not out of the house. He said moisture will be an issue. He also told me what I already knew which was these older homes have â Zeroâ absolutely â Noâ insulation inside any of my (4)outside walls. I was emailed my quote in a very timely manner and the price was reasonable. They also told me I could get special financing via â Michigan Saves.â I got my financing approved and it was very easy. Long story (sorry) is the crew came out as well as Steve. Steve who was in charge is a very humble, knowledgeable, personable and amazingly honest human. The crew did a job on my house that turned not only amazed my girlfriend and I but exceeded my expectations. My cold back bedroom rooms are no longer cold after filling the gaps with blown in insulation. The temperature is steady and even. Itâ s amazing how much of a difference insulation literally (on every level) of my house made. Itâ s a smaller home but I love it and plan on staying here forever. When the job was done, Steve came out so I could sign off. He said â Now you can have your home back.â That stuck with me because he really cared and treated this home like it was his own. As soon as Steve left I contacted Sam who is the owner. I let him know how happy I was. Sam was so personable that we talked for awhile as well. I will absolutely recommend Dana Insulation to anyone and everyone. I knew it would help but had no clue I would notice this much of a difference."

"Alex and his team were hired to blow foam insulation into our exterior walls, which were not consistently insulated properly, and in some cases, not at all. They really did their due diligence at making sure they blew foam into all open cavities and kept me apprised of their progress at all times -- including where they didn't need to install any additional insulation. The crew was super hardworking and respectful (always removed shoes or put on booties when entering our home). Alex is extraordinarily knowledgeable about the origin of sound and how to blunt it, and was great at explaining everything. I would hire Alex and team again in a heartbeat. They're outstanding."

They also put foam around the rim beams in my basement as well as my attic. They were very professional and cleaned up before leaving. I love being able to turn my thermostat down and still be comfortable. USA also assisted me in completing the paperwork which will enable me in attaining a refund from DTE for having this work done."

"We had raccoons in our attic for about 3 weeks , and you can guess what mess a nesting raccoon can make , we needed to have all the fiberglass batting removed and than new spray foam installed . The 3 guys showed up on time and went right to work, oh , and this was done in late December so even more fun , the two young men that removed the old insulation were very efficient , bag after bag came down , about 45-50 in all , and then the foam guy went up and did his thing our is much quieter and warmer also could not be happier and will use again if the need ever arises , it did cost more for the foam but well worth it"
