"I wanted to replace an old concrete slab outback so I hired this company to do pavers in my backyard. What started out as a small patio project turned into a much bigger project when I saw how amazing their work is. I had a giant patio done with a sitting wall and built-in fire pit. They started first thing in the morning and worked during long hot days until the project was finished. This company is busy so I recommend getting on the books! Theyâ re busy for a reason!!! "Kurt (Distinct Landscapes) performed an exception makeover to our property. We have owned our home for 20 years, with an eye on a landscape design to the house front - that pops. What we inherited were azaleas and christmas trees that continued to grow more expansive over the years. I provided Kurt with my budget and blessing to take the necessary design/purchase/installation steps necessary to dazzle. He did not disappoint! Kurt was a joy to work with, paying several visits to our property to discuss proposed layout and educate newcomers concerning the finer points of horticulture - in laymen's terms. He was extremely responsive to preferences and concerns and made several modifications of his own - before installation date. What a makeover - Korean Boxwoods, Dward Red Barberries, Goldmound Spireas, Nandina Domestica, Chery Laurels Knockout Roses, A Purple Crape Myrtle and Dragon Lady Holly species ... to name a few. Kurt did not overcrowd the design, but allowed sufficient spacing for future growth ... definitely planning for the longer range investment. With his selection, he also ensured more diverse colors over a greater portion of the calendar year. We're now the proud owners of a unique landscape that complements the house color/style much better. "It turned out that the sod was defective, having a thin sand base instead of soil. It failed to take root and grow. The sod distributor who sold the defective sod refused to reimburse Looking Sharpe for the cost. Nevertheless Looking Sharpe removed the old sod on my lawn, put down top soil and fertilizer and laid down new sod at no cost to me. Looking Sharpe absorbed the cost of the replacement even though the original failure was not their fault. This speaks very highly of Mr. Sharpe and the integrity of his business."

"Mike was awesome from the start. He showed up on time to discuss the work we needed for both the front and back yard. During this visit, he drew up a new design for the front yard and provided a written estimate for all work. My husband and I decided to go with work only for the front yard to save a bit of money right now, but overall we did feel that Mike's estimate was a fair price. We would hire him again to do the work for the back yard - no question.
As noted above, Mike and his crew completely overhauled our front yard, fixing drainage and grading issues that we had had for years, but were exacerbated by a recent large tree removal earlier this year. Mike needed to bring in a stump remover for more than half a day to complete the work that the tree removal service left behind - no extra charge.
After two days, we had a brand new front yard, complete with fresh new sod and new landscaping. It looks great! We are so pleased with the work. The crew cleaned up after themselves, and Mike has been available to answer any follow-on questions we've had since then, about care, etc.

"The driver called about 20 minutes before arriving so that I could make sure I had my tarp laid out in my driveway ready for the delivery. When the driver arrived, he backed up to my side yard and dumped the stone exactly where I needed it. Very polite and professional. Also, there prices are the cheapest around, and the stone was great quality. I will be doing business with Mulch and Stone in the future."
