I also had my front door stained which did not come out to my satisfaction the first time and I showed Wilber a picture of the door and he came back and re-sanded the door and re-stained it. "We have used S&J Painting and Remodeling many times over the past 5 years, most recently (spring 2025) for handyman services. S&J provide services for a full day, so we typically accumulate a few projects. Our most recent project included replacing two faucets, fixing a very loose banister, repairing a hole in the drywall, as well as a few basic jobs, hanging pictures and installing bathroom fixtures. I expected to paint after the drywall and banister were repaired, but they took care of it for me. When replacing one of the faucets they found the supply lines were old and rusty. They went to Home Depot, purchased new supply lines and installed them at no extra cost. While there they picked up some brackets to secure some other loose pipes they happened to see while in the utility room. We really appreciate the extra attention to detail and doing more than we even realized needed done. We are already accumulating new projects. Scheduling and workday communication is excellent."

"For a very reasonable price, we feel like we have a new brand new kitchen! They are real pros at drywall, trimwork, and painting, and they did excellent carpentry work on our new pantry. We have a small condo in DC, with very strange shapes and odd angles to it, and the team had no problems working with this unique space. The crew was courteous, clean, and professional. The foreman came to inspect the work and inquired if we had further questions or concerns. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time (approximately 5-6 days of work total), and the only delay occurred because there was some electrical work that had to be completed that was outside of their scope- once I had that done, they were prompt about coming back to finish the job. We plan to contract with this company again for bathroom renovations."
