"Weed Man (Family owned and operated) arrived at my mother's home on April 1st. They aerated the yard, applied their weed treatment, and fertilized. They completed the work quickly and professionally. They have returned twice for check-ups and treated any new spots as needed. There were only one or two of them. Her yard looks amazing! "This is my second time using Ricky's services. We communicated via text to arrange appointment time. He provided 4 hour window for service and text his arrival time 30 min before. Once arriving he and I walked the lawn & he listened to my concerns & desires for improvement. He took time to educate me on the condition of my lawn and ways to improve. "We had a sidewalk that was in danger of being pushed up by the shallow roots of our main front yard shade tree, which also needed a serious "haircut". So we called Rob, from WorksByRob.com. He came out and was friendly, professional and informative as he looked at the work to be done and talked to us about the project.
During the project estimate, Rob took the time to explain to us (without all the technical jargon) about how he follows the recommendations of the International Society of Arboricultural, which outline the proper ways to care for different trees. He went over in detail not only what he would be using to fertilize and feed our trees, but WHY he was using low-salt fertilizers and adding organic “bio-packs” to the soil around our trees.
When we gave the go-ahead to do the work, the crew showed up on schedule and began trimming trees, digging the root barrier trenches and adding the nutrients to the areas that needed it. The crew was professional and kept the work areas clean and free of safety hazards while they were on site and after leaving for the day (this was a 3 day project).
Our project was finished a half-day ahead of schedule, thanks to the hard work of Rob Brundrett at WorksByRob. The work area was cleaned up better than it was when his workers arrived, and they even helped remove some debris leftover from earlier work I had done in the yard but hadn’t had a chance to pick up myself.
Overall, I would highly recommend WorksByRob to anyone who wants excellent service and quality for their outdoor property

Eric Putnam is a certified arborist.  I contacted him and he came to my house and diagnosed the various problems with my orange tree.  He gave me a very reasonable proposal for mitigating the problems and did not charge me for the onsite diagnosis.  I did hire him to do the work.  He scheduled the work and came out did what  he had proposed:  removed separate grafted tree, treated orange tree for fungus and insects, gave me recommendations for fertilizing and weed control of backyard, and will return in spring to review the treatment and provide additional treatment (at no additional cost) if necessary.

Eric is an extremely knowledgeable arborist.  He was able to quickly determine what was causing leaf damage to the tree.  He ate one of the oranges and was able to determine that the slightly tart taste was a result of nitrates from the fertilizer that I use in my backyard.  He recommended an alternative fertilizer.  He was very honest.  I asked him about other problems with trees in my front and back yard.  He could have recommended additional services but instead told me they were not really necessary.

It is a true delight to find a professional who is an expert, charges a fair price, and has integrity and is honest.  I wish all my vendors were like Arbor-Tech Consulting.
