"The repairs, the clean-up, and the pleasant experience exceeded my expectations. A large oak tree fell on our roof, breaking through roof rafters and ceiling joists with branches in the bedroom. It is an older house with loose fill insulation in the attic. As soon as the tree was removed, Steve's crew covered the gaping hole with a tarp and did the interior carpentry to replace the rafters and joists. Steve correctly diagnosed that a new cap was needed and that water was seeping in from the top. Problem solved- the stone dried up in a couple of weeks and is now the same color on the whole chimney. "On a Tuesday night during a large wind and rain storm, my roof over my mud room began leaking rain water through our light fixture and into the ceiling in our kitchen. We had around 16-18 buckets of water that night. I knew damage had occurred, and although I dont typically place a claim with my insurance company, I knew this was obviously a time that I needed too. He also felt confidant that based on my description of the damage, that insurance would likely help on the roof costs. It was clear to me during our talk over the phone, that he had plenty of experience and to me at this time, I needed exactly just that. Zack arrived at 11:30 and reviewed my roof. He was very professional, kind and explained everything to me. I signed a basic agreement allowing work to be completed by Skyline Construction Group, that the insurance would cover, whether repairs or complete roof replacement. My claims agent arrived and began surveying the damage. It did not take long and Zack alerted me while the claims rep. was still reviewing my roof that, my whole roof would be covered, except that Id have to pay a deductible on my insurance and any smaller costs that were not covered under my plan/insurance. I asked them several questions when Jose visited and also via emails to Bryan. They provided me with satisfactory responses and details explanations of how they would do the project and what materials would be used. They did the job within one of signing the contract and finished everything in one day. They also took great care on various finer details on the edges and also on the top where my shingles roof meet with the flat roof. They also cleaned all the debris after finishing the work. Jose, Bryan and their employees are very professional and courteous.
