Customers say: Super punctual

"Rafael is a top-of-the-line plumber and a gentleman. He provided me with all the information I needed, showing that he knows his stuff. I highly recommend him to everyone. The crew of 4 started the re-piping project within my schedule, led by Matt. Matt and Mike worked the project to its timely and successful completion. The aesthetics are terrific. The drywall smooth finish will be done tomorrow. Even with the additional work of installing a chrome kitchen faucet and repairing a toilet, the cost was several thousand dollars less than anyone else. I highly recommend David Gray Plumbing, Electrical, Heating, and Cooling. Thank you. Robert Johnson"

"The level of service provided by R Stud Plumbing was exceptional. After receiving a CCUA Leak Alert, I was worried about a possible interior leak and requested a replacement of the main shut off valve. Robert arrived the next day and completed the replacement, which was necessary due to the valve’s severe corrosion. Robert’s professionalism stood out throughout the process. He listened carefully, offered helpful suggestions, and worked late into the evening to diagnose and work the issue. He returned the following day, located the exterior leak, and repaired it. His customer service, expertise, and dedication were exceptional. "

Small jobs welcome

"We had such a pleasant experience with Crabtree Plumbing! From the very beginning, they were reliable, professional, and easy to work with. They played a huge role in bringing everything together, making sure all the plumbing was done correctly and with great attention to detail. What really stood out was how much they cared—not just about getting the job done, but about doing it right. They were always on time, communicated clearly, and made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. The quality of their work truly shows in the finished space. I’m so glad we chose them for our project and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, skilled plumbers—especially for remodels!"

"The staff was kind and that’s very important to me especially when you’re coming into my home to render a service. I appreciated getting a picture of Willie before he arrived. He was very polite, knowledgeable of what I wanted done, and thorough. He did an awesome job of installing my sink and faucet .The price was affordable. "

"This is the company you WANT TO CALL FIRST! A couple weeks late with review, but Craig came out to help clear my backed up main line pipe. He went above and beyond to help, but my house came with no main line to be found and I mean he was all over my yard looking for it, even I was scratching my head on it. He offered to put in a main line off the house and I couldn’t afford it even though the price was VERY reasonably priced. With having a baby on the way very soon, there just wasn’t a way to squeeze it out. He didn’t charge a thing for all the work he did trying to locate it. I really appreciate him and being a stand up guy. I would definitely give this company a call every time in the future and so should you."

FAQs for drain clog or blockage clearing projects in Doctors-inlet, FL

Snaking a simple clog near a tub, toilet, or sink often takes about five minutes. Deeper blockages along the main line can stretch the job to a few hours because the pro must feed extra cable and may need a camera to confirm the pipe is clear. Either way, specialized tools help pros work quickly and keep your drains running for the long haul.

Aggressive snaking can scratch pipes, push debris deeper, or even crack older lines. That risk is low with an experienced plumber who matches the cable size to the pipe and eases the snake through bends instead of forcing it. If you’re unsure of your technique—or your pipes are already fragile—calling a licensed pro is the safest, and often cheapest, move.

Start with simple barriers: mesh screens on every tub, shower, and sink keep hair, food bits, and jewelry out of the pipes. Skip harsh chemicals; a monthly flush with hot (not boiling) water clears light buildup without damaging plastic lines. Finally, practice smart disposal—no grease, wipes, or kitty litter down the drain—and schedule routine cleanings if you have older plumbing.

Roto‑Rooter typically charges a flat $160 to $450 for standard snaking, which may include a quick sewer inspection and basic clean‑out. Exact pricing depends on the clog’s location and complexity. Repairs or part replacements fall outside that flat fee, so ask for a line‑item estimate if your tech spots broken pipe sections or recommends additional work.

Most liquid cleaners rely on caustic chemicals that eat through hair and grime—but they also erode metal and even some plastics over time. Repeated use strips protective pipe coatings and can leave you with leaks or premature failures. If hot water or a plunger doesn’t help, call a plumber for mechanical removal instead of pouring more chemicals down the line.
