"I have had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with this company. I paid $650 for a permit back in September, yet the permit was not actually submitted until December 18. During that time, I was falsely told I needed to pay an additional $133 city fee. I later created my own city account and confirmed that the only fee ever paid on the permit was $133, proving that information was incorrect. I was also told I needed to sign an affidavit for the permit. I signed it and left it with them, but they never submitted it to the city, forcing me to go myself and pay another $134 out of pocket just to move things forward. On top of that, I gave them a $3,000 rush check for fence materials, yet the permit still was not in place. Recently, they told me they would be coming to dig the fence holes after I clearly explained that a city inspector was scheduled to meet me on-site to sign off on the permit and inspect the holes. I arrived to find that no holes were done, leaving me"

"Mr Ordiel Delgado came out within four hours of my call to North Miami Beach. The area was framed and completed in two days. I was given an estimate, no deposit was required and I was allowed to pay with credit card and check after the employees and cement truck were on site. Magic Finish Corporation is a very honest company. I had 500 square feet to cover with a severe slope of 10" , in a parallelogram shape and with one curved edge. The only words from Mr. Ordiel Delgado is 'Yes, I can Yes, I will'. They used high strength concrete, liquid bonding agent, fiber , core drilled many areas and used many yards of rebar. The results are amazing! They lived up to their name of Magic Finish Concrete Corporation. A big shout out to Mr Ordiel Delgado and his four expert concrete technicians for creating a durable and handsome work of art!! Highly recommended and will use them again! "

Customers say: Super punctual

"The roofing company that I hired damaged the driveway of my rental property. I needed to find someone to repair the damage and hired Labrada based on reviews. It was an absolutely magnificent experience. He is a true professional. He repaired the driveway in one day and kept me informed by sending me messages and pictures, since he knew I was out of town and couldn’t go to the property. I will definitely hire him again!"

"Very professional, personable, courteous managers and workers. The project involved raising the floor of a sunken living room to enable my wife in a wheelchair to navigate more easily and to avoid the risk of falling. When finished the room looked like it had always been raised. We were very satisfied with the quality work."

FAQs for concrete patios, walks & steps installation projects in Doral, FL

Most sidewalks rely on a ready‑mix blend of Portland cement, sand, gravel, and water that trucks deliver to your site and pour in one continuous lift. For added strength, many contractors fold in fiber mesh or steel reinforcement. This mix cures into a rock‑solid slab that stands up to foot traffic, freeze‑thaw cycles, and daily wear for decades. Expect a pro to recommend a 4‑inch‑thick pour for standard walkways.

With the right mix, proper drainage, and routine upkeep, a concrete sidewalk can last 25 to 50 years. Freeze‑thaw cycles, road salt, and heavy loads all shorten that timeline, but sealing every few years and patching small cracks early keeps damage in check. Think of sealing as inexpensive insurance for decades of safe, stable footing. In milder climates, some slabs push well past the 30‑year mark without major repairs.

Concrete sidewalks crack as a result of significant temperature fluctuations and heavy load pressures. The freeze-thaw cycles and sustained weight from vehicles or intense foot traffic force the concrete to develop cracks over time. Applying a premium sealant every two to three years and substituting salt with sand for de-icing minimizes crack formation. Regular maintenance and timely repairs safeguard the sidewalk’s structural integrity and extend its service life.
