The only reason I rated the

company B overall instead of A, is because one part of the job that we were promised has still not been done, and I'm not sure it ever will be, despite assurances from Brian, the owner.  We're waiting for the company to put a handle on the grate that covers our well pump, and the cover is difficult for us to lift without a handle on it. 

I would still recommend this company for quality work.  But don't pay the entire bill until everything has been completed.

"Clayton's Concrete was very respectful of our property and did a great job. Clayton's crew excavated two portions of our basement that were still a dirt floor, he laied gravel, poured concrete and leveled all in the basement of a 115+ old home with no exterior door to the basement. He also removed the unused oil tanks that were in the one section of the floor and laid radon mitigation piping. Given the extremely dirty nature of this project, Clayton and his crew were very respectful of my home, they had to haul dirt and oil tanks out of my basement and through my kitchen, and had to load concrete into the basement through a small, 100+ year old window. When I returned home from work each day of the project there wasn't a bit of dirt anywhere in my house. Clayton even made sure his crew took care of the outside of my house not leaving a speck of dirt or concrete anywhere. Our city also has a laborious permitting process for this sort of work and Clayton personally dealt with all those matters showing great patience. We had Clayton in just months after purchasing this home and couldn't be happier with the service. The cost was extremely reasonable. The floor looks great too!"
