"Once again and with the highest confidence, we hired Russell's Contracting to convert our back entrance into a more open, useful mudroom. As promised, they arrived on time on the expected date and started by sealing off the back entrance for dust. The demolition of the closet was first done, and then the rehab began. I was amazed at the level of detail necessary to make the new mudroom perfect. From fixing the ceiling to installing new walls, taping and sanding, painting, new baseboards, and moving the overhead light, it was fun to watch. Keith, Colby, and Max designed and installed a custom-built, stair-to-ceiling railing system that looks great and provides the necessary safety we were looking for. They also made it removable to accommodate large objects up and down stairs. The amount of time they spent was crazy, and the amount of math they did to ensure it was plumb and solid was above and beyond our expectations. My house was built in 1933, and this railing system looks like it could have been original to the house. It is a masterpiece. "My wife and I needed a new roof on our carport and also the 3 season porch roof. The carport had a hole in the roof and caused rot around the rear support post. Eddie told me what needed to be done. It wasn't a simple job as I hoped it would be. After most of the work was completed, they noticed that there was a lot of rot on the house siding where it meets the roof of the 3 season porch. There was also other rot around the carport roof. Knowing that We wanted to eventually do vinyl siding, we decided now was as good a time as any. The crew did an excellent job on the carport and 3 season room, so we hired them to vinyl side our house. Best decision we ever made. The workers who did this job are top notch, very professional.
