"Pretty well. I spoke with Jose for a quote and he came out the same day. Although the price was much higher than I had planned, Jose and his large crew came out soon after I signed the contract and completed the work satisfactorily. Two other companies I called never followed through. J&R Chavez Landscaping LLC did what they said and did it right. Although the price was much higher than I planned, I believe that with some regular maintenance on my part, I wont need to have more work done for a while."

"A neighbor had some work done by 7th State and I watched their progress, so I asked the neighbor for their contact. I had a small porch replaced by a screened porch. The original porch was wood and starting to dry rot, and was slippery in rain and snow. I met with Anthony in February for an estimate and to tell him what I wanted. The County permit process and requirements for improvement went on until September -- an 8 month wait. They required me to plant trees and shrubbery simply to replace something already there, OR pay a fee to not plant trees and shrubbery. Ashley in the office helped me through this and kept me advised of the progress toward getting it started. Work began on September 10, ended mid October. Each step had to be approved by the permit office. The workmanship and finished product are outstanding. Neighbors have complimented me on the improvement. Some workers worked up until 7:00pm to finish their part of the project. I would recommend this contractor to anybody."

"I was late in finding a company to do holiday lighting for us. Sharper Cut responded promptly to my request and we're able to get my lights up in time for a holiday party we were hosting. They did a fantastic job, the crew they sent were very professional, payed attention to details like where the electric wires and extension cords went, made sure they wouldn't be in a place where people could trip over the cords....it came out more beautiful than we expected! "The team from Bright did an excellent job. They arrived on time or early, let themselves into the backyard where the job site was, and worked non-stop all day. They kept the work area tidy and cleaned up each evening before leaving. They worked in 100 degree heat 9 hours a day until they finished the project and brought in additional help as needed. They are the most professional, courteous, and quality-oriented team we have ever worked with. They have done 5 or 6 masonry projects for us and each one was absolutely perfect. I would recommend them 100%! They are the best in the area - true artisans with such a high degree of professionalism. It is always a wonderful experience to work with them."

"I cannot say enough about how wonderful it has been to work with Gene Sibley and his entire crew at Stowe Contracting.  They are highly professional, extremely knowledgeable and efficient.  Gene guided us through the reno with numerous suggestions for improvements  He was always available by phone or text if we had any questions.  The work was started and finished on time and on budget.  Gene's crew arrived every day when they said they would and worked straight through the day only taking a short break for lunch.  When finished each day they cleaned up so thoroughly it was like they were never even there.  Their work -- tile, painting, woodwork, electrical -- is impeccable. "Lou is personable and professional. Overall, it was as a good experience (in the context of experiences that I never wished to have). Here are some areas for improvement: - cleanliness: the crew covered furniture and used drop-cloths, but it was spotty and the use degraded over time. Basement shower was left with lots of junk that stained it. - attention to detail: the crew installed the black wall covering system in a sloppy manner instead of a tight fit. They also installed the sump hole covers with too tight a fit. - poor prep for put-together crew: the waterproofing crew cut erratic and uneven interior trenches instead of taking the time and using the tools to leave the concrete flush with a straight line of tile. This added $750 in extra cost to put the basement back together. Note that the crew brings in day labor to haul buckets of waste out of the house."

"I had several places where drywall or plaster had to be patched. The handyman arrived on time and was very thorough. He was also pleasant to talk to. My only complaint was the price - it seemed high for this type of work."

"Dan and his team were excellent. They are perfectionists who get the job done right. Dan helped me with ideas for the kitchen and it turned out amazing -- countertops, backsplash, kitchen island and painting. They also did my laundry room. The tile work on the floor is perfect. I would hire again."
