"Great service. Eddie Cox come out on a Monday and told me what the worker would do. The worker came out on Wednesday on time both days and did and amazing job. The worker clean up all concrete you would never know they were there.I live in LaPlata had to get permission to widen the end of my driveway. You would never know that that they touch my driveway it look beautiful. I call several concrete companies in Charles county and these company were rude and took week to call me back. One companies I call still waiting for a call back. But thank to 7th State Builders, LLC I got the job done and excellent job. Due to a stroke I had the driveway widen to give me more freedom. "Before hiring LevelLift, I contacted a friend of mine who owns a Structural Engineering firm, but only work commercial not residential. So after receiving at least (5) estimates, we agreed that LevelLift was the company to hire. <br /> Met with Paul Mauer of Levelift Systems, he was very nice, patient and professional along with his team. Received a proposal for the work noted below: <br /> The work in the basement included but not limited too grout beneath concrete, excavate & installed timber walls, <br /> raise window well & installed standard home-improvement store grade cover, raise grade, furnished & installed discharge pipes for down spouts, installed seven steel beams, new interior drainage, repaired damaged mortar joints, installed 12" high cast-in-place concrete curb between steel beams and they took care of all the Montgomery County permits and inspections. In addition, mobilization, site preparation and furnished & installed discharge pipe for sump pump. <br /> In addition, Paul recommended a very good Structural Engineer to take care of the structural drawings. <br /> The contract payment terms were broken down into four payments with the option of using major credit cards and we have a ten (10) year warranty. <br /> Paul and his team were very responsive, punctual, and professional and the quality of the work was excellent. We have not had any problems in the basement since 2013. They are highly recommended. (A+) <br />"

"Bright Masonry did an EXCEPTIONAL job on our retaining wall, steps and walkway. We had old concrete steps and a walk that was improperly graded. Bright really transformed the front / curb appeal of our home. The retaining wall (about 3’ high) run down the entire 50’or 60’ of sidewalk in front of the house. It’s cinders with stone face and bluestone cap. Beautiful. It will be there for 75 years. The blew out the concrete steps and sidewalk, repoured everything on the right grade and put stone faces on the risers and bluestone treads. New iron railing as well. They refaced a concrete patio with stone and brought the stone all the way into the entryway. Lights on the steps were extra but pretty affordable considering everything else and definitely worth it. They are on a timer. I’ve recvd a TON of compliments from the neighbors. They also removed old railroad tie retaining wall around the driveway and replaced building in new steps. First class job. Can’t say enough about Rui and his team. We paid a lot for the work, but I’m very confident we’ll get it back. And in the meantime, I smile every time I walk out the front door. Highly recommend Bright Construction."

"They arrived on time; were professional & polite; and did the work to my expectations. I could not have asked for a better result. (Not to mention it was a lot cheaper than having the concrete driveway replaced.) Nice people too."

"We were real pleased with them at first but then we wanted them to come back and then redo something and we had a little problem with them. Its suppose to be a lifetime guarantee. I think the biggest thing was, at first we knew he wanted to put in a, upgrade the pump and all of that and at first he said he would do it and I think he got busy and it was hard to get him on the phone and he kept telling us well that job is too small that job is too small, I'm too busy and so you know that was frustrating. So we eventually had to find someone else to do it, if he had said that up front we would have gone to get this done instead of him stringing us along and you know not returning calls promptly and keep telling us you know that's too small, not worth my time and like I said eventually we found someone else that we are very satisfied with."

"Kiras trimmed bushes and trees in yard and around the house. Mulch was placed cleanly and evenly. They edged where mulched, and looks clean and sharp. We have several flower bed areas where they cleaned up, spruced up and made to look nice and presentable. Front area of driveway he rearranged and made look very nice, did weeding and detailing. Did great on the clean up, and now looks like a model home. Not the least expensive, but by far the best landscaper I have used so far. <br />"

"Chimney Doctor gets a "A" for the actual chimney work and a "F" for clean-up (which averages out to a "C"). The mortar between the bricks of our chimney was beginning to deteriorate. We hired Chimney Doctor to tuckpoint most of the chimney and perform other minor work re: the cap. The work itself was done in a reasonable amount of time and looks great. That said, the chimney is located right next to our new composite deck that we had built a few months ago. I emphasized several times in writing to the company that the deck was the largest investment we had made in the house and we were very sensitive about protecting it. They acknowledged this sentiment multiple times, also in writing. Despite these requests, the furniture and the deck surfaces were a complete mess after they finished their work. The workers allowed the dust to settle on the deck and, due to the high humidity, this dust adhered itself to every surface. The company acknowledged this issue and did send an employee days later to clean the deck. Unfortunately, this was ineffective. It took me hours over several days (I had to wait for the deck to dry each time to see spots I missed) of power washing and scrubbing to get the deck clean again and to clean each item of furniture. When I informed them of this situation, they did apologize but provided no other refund or resolution. I recognize this process creates dust and that's just part of the work, but I think they could've done much more to either proactively protect the deck, to suggest that WE should've put some tarps down on our own, or to pay for a professional 3rd party company to come in and clean up. All told, if your chimney is nowhere near a nice patio/deck/etc., then by all means hire Chimney Doctor. If it is near an area you're sensitive about, then I'd look elsewhere or at least be prepared for a large clean-up effort on your part."
