"Bob was on time, very responsive and the job was done quickly, efficiently and well. I had a fair amount of spot pointing to be done to my 100 year old home, as well as, cement repair and a steel lintel installed above a bathroom window. Bob was great at balancing the time spent on the different sections of the house. For example, the back of my garage wall had some pretty bad spots, but my concern was not with perfection of the look, just keeping water out and the cost down, while the re pointing he did above the windows and in the brick work facing the street he spent more time on to blend in with the preexisting brick and it looks fantastic. "Part of our home is an 1850 stone farmhouse. The basement walls, two of which are built into a hill, were beginning to crumble and water was beginning to seep in. Edgar didn't just fix the problem, they exceeded our wildest imagination of what those walls could look like. We've been through some serious rain since and they are perfectly dry and look amazing! If the house falls today those two walls will still be standing! Very prompt service, reasonable priced and super easy to work with. "I had three different chimney companies come out for estimates, including Bricks. Bricks was the only one that bothered to actually thoroughly inspect my two fireplaces and wide chimney, discovering that one of my dampers was broken and more. The whole chimney needed to be stuccoed because the veneer stone on it was falling apart, and previous owners had covered a lot of it (foolishly) in roof tar. Bricks was the only company that thoroughly explained everything wrong, without using scare tactics. They were nice and patient, and I’m confident if anything goes wrong with the repair, they’d come out to fix it. It was a pricey job, but doing things right is often pricey. Worth it, though."

"Steve Hernandez, the crew leader, showed us detailed photos of the problems with our heating system flue and chimney. The former was in such bad condition he rescheduled work so he could get the job down that day! A few days later he and his crew came back to remove the badly worn chimney bricks and concrete crown and completely rebuild them. He had ordered and installed that day a custom cap. The crew was efficient and polite both days. Steve really helped me understand our own particular heating system and what to do going forward to keep it safe and efficient. Truly, kudos to Steve."
