"I have used this company ever since moving to my current home, for both routine carpet cleaning and emergency services. While I'm sure you can find a company to do routine cleaning for less, you will not find a more careful, friendly or responsive company. This was the second time I had used them for a water leak (the first was ice-dam related, the year of the monster storms). For both this current problem and that one, they brought in a large fan, pulled up the carpet section that was wet, put the fan between carpet and pad and let it run until everything was dry (2 days this time). Then they re-laid the carpet and cleaned the area that had gotten wet. My service person Steve went above and beyond the call of duty this time as he squeezed me in to his schedule at the end of the day, arrived at my home before I could get there from work, let himself in (I had no compunctions about giving him my garage door code), found the trouble area and moved a large bookcase full of books and a file cabinet so he could set up the fan. Similarly, once the carpet was dry I called the company, gave them my credit card number for the bill, and Steve let himself in and set the carpet back to rights. Given the two visits, the fan rental and the cleaning, I thought the charge was extremely reasonable. I have also used Red Carpet to clean my dryer vent and air ducts. Work done right, very careful and clean, and they do not hesitate to educate the homeowner on what they recommend and what they're doing, and why. Steve (again--I keep getting him, and I like it!) told me that based on the condition of my ductwork, which wasn't all that dirty, I shouldn't have to do them again for 4-5 years; it would have been easy to try to sell me on annual service and I wouldn't have known the difference."

"Francis is very professional and he is a thinking man. I have an old Victorian and often creative solutions are necessary and I have been running renovations for over 20 years and I'm thorough but he almost always thinks of something that I have left off the plan and fixes that. I know his work ethic and his abilities so I don't bid out jobs with Francis, I pay him by the hour for time and materials and I buy my own fixtures. He is neat and organized and you can have him around your children or tenants, he is respectful and minds his language. He really takes pride in his work and I'm never disappointed with the outcome of the work. I've spent over 20K with Francis and I've worked with at least 3 other electricians for many jobs and Francis is the best I've worked with. He works by himself mostly, hires help when he needs it. He goes above and beyond. I had an apartment with a slanted ceiling and it was going to require a very expensive custom shower rod; Francis made the custom shape with electrical conduit that he bent to the correct angles. I just spray painted the whole thing bronze and it looks amazing. For me, knowing that I'm going to get great quality work every time and I'm going to actually enjoy working with a contractor is why I keep picking that person over and over again. You may have to wait for him to be available. Honestly, he is worth the wait."

"Once again, great job by the electricians from Casello. The job was done in two parts: initial wiring and then finishing. Casello sent two guys for the initial work; we had a repeat visit from Nick and one new guy. They worked most of the day and got the job done, adding wiring for four recessed lights, two floodlights, removing an old exterior light, and adding 4 new outlets (one on the exterior of the porch). They didn't get in the way and I hardly knew they were there. Cleaned up after themselves as usual. Tidy and excellent work. <br /> On the second trip, they did the finishing work, adding the actual outlets and recessed lights. Everything worked as expected and we were very pleased with the outcome. The final wiring inspection took place and we passed, as expected. One very minor thing: they forgot to add the new circuit to the list in our box and the wiring inspector made a comment but didn't fail us, so make sure if you have similar work done you ask them to add the new service to the list of circuits. <br />"
