"Installers were extremely professional and efficient, no time wasted , and . . .they cleaned up very well afterward. I would definitely recommend this company. Everyone I talked to there was very accommodating and friendly; they wanted to do the job right from the beginning, unlike some other remodeling companies I have dealt with. Good job!"

"The employees did an immaculate job. Joe Bear did amazing work and installed everything to the specs I wanted. Contractors cleaned up after themselves, there was no dirt or grime left around the work area nor carpet in the house, wouldn't even know they were there!"

"As I say, when the leak took place in our laundry room, we brought in Troy Bain and his company. He quickly fixed the pipes, filled in the hole, and created a beautiful new tile floor in the laundry room and adjoining bathroom. Then, during the long period that the condo association resisted paying for the rest of the interior work we needed done, Troy continued to advise us. At the point when the condo association did at least request bids, Troy submitted the one that was most reasonable. After the lawsuit finally was settled, my wife and I hired Troy to do the massive amount of remaining work. We then left town for three-and-a-half weeks in order to give him and his assistant time to do most of that work without our being in their way. The two of them did a great deal of plaster work, painting, rebuilding of walls, investigation and fixing of leaks, repairing of floors, and much more. They also replaced our front door and repositioned it and some of our interior doors as well. All of that took just over four weeks (the time we were away plus several additional days), and when they were done, our home was essentially reborn. We cannot begin to describe what a massive job this was, yet Troy found ways of dealing with every single problem. Without hesitation, we can attest to the fact that Troy is a master of many crafts, as well as a true artist with plaster, paint, tile, drywall, and more. He also is extremely conscientious. At any rate, once Troy had completed all of the aforementioned tasks, my wife asked him to do some additional plumbing work and to replace all of the cabinet handles and hinges in our kitchen and upstairs bathroom. That work, too, was beautifully and effectively done for just a small additional fee, with the total charges still well under what all other contractors had bid just for doing the most basic initial work needed. In summary, we cannot recommend Troy Bain and his company All Things Done, Inc. highly enough!!! In the future, we will not even consider using a different contractor."

"I loved them. They had done the other windows in the rest of my house and I loved them. I had them replaced in '85 or '86 and they were perfect. If you look at them now you couldn't tell that they weren't just a couple of years old. This was the reason why I wanted to use these same windows for my new room. Two young men came out, they were punctual, showed up ready to work, and had everything to do the work. They did the work extremely well and even cleaned up after themselves. I was just tickled pink."

"Initial contact after reporting the incident to my insurance company was prompt. Because the nature of the damage was not serious and the contents of the garage were not exposed to the elements I did not need immediate service. With that in mind, an estimator made contact in a few days, scheduled a time to perform the estimate and promptly returned detailed and fully itemized results.
After these initial activities, things slowed down. The estimator misplaced my paperwork and thus I did not get contacted by a Project Manager until over a week had passed from the receipt and acceptance of the estimate. Subsequently, the project manager had to reschedule several appointments. Because the damage to my garage was not severe, I accepted the delays. However, had the damage been more serious, my expectations would have been considerably higher. All communications during this period were prompt, professional, and courteous.
Once the work was scheduled, it came off without a hitch and I am very satisfied with the result.
Bottom Line: Quality work, good communication (mostly), good professionalism, need to improve on time management."

"Timely response to our inquiry as to whether they did that kind of work. Daniel is precise and all went according to plan except the insullation provider gave us a fiberglass blower that was defective. Dan exchanged it and brought back a different system and had the job completed within several hours of getting the new blower. Everything was done that could possibly be done to keep the mess to a minimum. Clean up was thorough and we are now ready for winter! DB Doe It is a terrific business with which to do business. This is our third project where they were involved and every time I am impressed by their price, quality craftsmanship, and cleanup! I highly recommend DB Does It!"

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Dublin, IN

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
