Then they sent us Jake and he did a marvelous job and we loved the way he did all of the work. You need to have more installers with Jakes skills and you will have a very successful business. Mike Hunt was also very instrumental in getting our situation righted and sending Jake our way. A big thanks to Mike and Jake for making this a successful install. I requested an experienced technician and scheduled a mid-March install, trusting their promise: "But no matter how big or small the project is, we can do it for you. We have many clients with a checklist of jobs, and when you schedule a House Doctor handyman, they arrive on time and complete the job with promptness and precision. We won?t waste your time." Instead, delays, a wrong door order, and conflicting measurements left me confused. I was told the owner would refund our deposit and cancel the project, with no explanation. With rising tariffs and home repair season, our door install maybe pushed to late summer. I cannot in good conscience recommend House Doctor. It is now May and we're forced to look for another provider. The prolonged delay and vague communication have forced me to seek other vendors, incurring higher costs as tariffs raise material prices.
