"Excellent attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship. Charlie designed built in cabinets with new windows for both sides of our fireplace and after the initial design completed, we decided to try to get our TV mounted above the stone fireplace even though it was not initially agreed upon. Not an easy endeavor (20 foot natural stone fireplace--stone from floor to ceiling---not wired for it initially) but Charlie did not pressure us to rush through it. He spoke with masons, our builder, electrician, etc but ultimately designed a beautiful mantle to hide all of the wires so the TV blended in perfectly with minimal destruction Ken spent a week installing the unit, making detailed measurements for the TV and doing the finish work. His attention to detail was phenomenal. In full disclosure that I only gave the price a B because we did get 2 other quotes that were cheaper----but with that being said we did not feel comfortable trusting the scope of this project to anyone else but Charlie after speaking with him. It was a patient, well designed, well run, top notch job---well worth the cost"

"My husband and I visited Village Cabinet and Design, and for a smaller office in the Medway Mills, we found ourselves surrounded by a myriad of options. Different styles and colors were presented and we took home some catalogs. Once we decided to move forward with the project and chose a style, we called back. Jane Scammon, a designer for the company, stopped by our house the next day, listened to what we wanted and gave us options. She took measurements and came up with a beautiful 3-D design plan with logical locations for trash bins, dishwasher, etc. making the kitchen a place where everything we need is at our fingertips. We made adjustments based on our preferences and she gladly customized the design to fit our needs. Our kitchen went from oak colored particle board cabinets and a peninsula counter to bright white maple hardwood cabinets with a new island layout. The cabinets are soft-close with plenty of storage options, and surrounded by beautiful crown moulding. We couldn't be happier; it's like a brand new house!"
