Action was the only one to contact me of all the suggested companies. That made me even more suspicious! They were able to fit me in for the next day. Hmm, more hesitation. But I rested in Action's good reviews on HomeAdvisor and kept the appointment. I was so happy I did. Mike was fantastic. He was personable and extremely informative. He knows his AC and heat pumps really well. I look forward to having them back in a couple of weeks to clean my furnace and do some cleaning and troubleshooting on a Hearthstone gas fireplace. When one finds a company one can trust, well, stick with them and get what needs to be done, done. I am so happy to have done something so out of my nature, like trusting HomeAdvisor. "On Monday morning we woke up with no heat.  At 8:15 AM I called Cuddy Brothers and spoke with Chris. He said they could come out in the afternoon, and asked that I text him the address.  He also said he might be able to get there sooner, and that he would let me know within the hour.  He called back about 45 minutes later to say he would be there in about 30 minutes.  He was friendly and professional on the phone and in person.  He assessed the situation, listened to my description of the noise the boiler was making and what we had already tried, and was quickly able to diagnose the problem.  He didn't have the part in his truck, so went to get it from his shop. He replaced the part, made sure everything was running again, then gave me a tutorial on how the system works.  Although the job took more than an hour as he had to go to his shop he only charged for an hour of labor.  The part was $225, and the labor was $150, not cheap, but seemed fair to me.  He also offered to talk with my husband by phone if he had any questions. We would hire Cuddy Brothers again, and are happy that we found a local plumber to work with.

"We could not be happier with Brandon's work, punctuality, cleanliness, personality, communication, honesty, pricing, and overall character. We actually had contracted to do some extra work for a few thousand. Day 1 of the job, Brandon calls to let us know that we do not need to do the work as he took the time and effort to get other opinions on the installation of a beam. Again, character. He could have easily installed, but he took the time to do right by his customer and that, in our experience, is essentially unheard of. The work he completed for us-on schedule-was more than we could have hoped for. He really does great work, listens to the customer (we are guilty of making many changes and talking far too much), but Brandon is beyond patient and willing to work with you. If you are looking to remodel a kitchen, bath, or in general, look no further than Superior. You are hiring someone who truly cares about his work and the customer. Rare in any business these days. We will definitely hire Brandon when the time comes for our next project-no hesitation."
