"When we decided to finally upgrade our fence, we scoped out some of the fences in our neighborhood. One of the fences that stood out for its craftsmanship and beauty had a CLM Home Improvements sign on it. I contacted Carlos for a quote and he was responsive, professional, and polite. Carlos listened to our concerns, offered suggestions, and gave us a few options to choose from. We were concerned this process might take a while because we live on a corner and our fence required a permit. In fact, another fence company wouldn't even work with us because our project required a permit. Carlos kept us informed throughout the permit process, which was not as bad as we had anticipated. On installation day, Carlos and his team arrived promptly and removed our old, ugly chain link fence and installed a beautiful 6' wooden privacy fence. We couldn't be more thrilled with it! As far as pricing, CLM's price was the best -- in one case nearly $5K LOWER than what another company quoted us! "Communication wasn't amazing. It took me a long time and a few emails to schedule the service, to the point that I was wondering if I'd been had. . On the day arranged I waited and waited only to find they were at my previous address ( which I'd never given them). I'd advise caution with the so-called deals that angie's list offers. I was wrong not to have measured my deck and assumed beased on a hunch that the deal would suffice for an average sized deck when in reality the deal covered a small fraction of the deck, so I had to pay a "regular"i.e., very expensive price for the power wash. I didn't really care that much for the result as far as restoration goes. It was well washed and the person who came to do the service was corteous but a clear sealant was applied and I couldn't tell much of a difference. I do understand this has a lot to do with my not previously measuring the deck and also with my expectation of what my deck wold look like afterwards based on the pictures, but I would say beware. This is it for me as far as angies'list goes. I'll stick with neighborhood recommendations."

"I contacted Earth Friendly Services this morning and I immediately received a reply.  Phil contacted me and I asked for a proposal for installing my new light.  He responded and said he would be at my home in about 15 - 20 minutes.  His responsiveness was exact. He arrived in about 15 minutes. I showed him the light fixture and he said it was no problem and he could do it today.  I also asked him if he would also install a new electrical outlet in my foyer and again he said no problem.  Phil installed the light fixture and the electrical outlet that day and he did a fantastic job.  He was very professional and the quality of work was awesome.  I was also very pleased on the price.  I have put Earth Friendly Services number in my phone book and I will sure use them again.  Thanks Phil!

"If I could give The Tree People a 5+ star, I would. From the first initial contact with Cindy to get a quote, to the email follow up from Michael they were very professional. Within a few days I had a written quote emailed to me and the price was better than all 6 others I received. The day of, which was 4 days later, 6 men showed up right on time and within 5 hours I had 4 huge oak trees removed, stumps grinded and everything was cleaned up like they were never there. "Beitzell did a great job for us.  The estimator was punctual and professional, and the price was $1600 less than the highest of four bids we received - for better quality construction than offered by the highest bidder.  Our lot is not flat, so the fence had to run up and down hills and was very much a custom job - no pre-built panels.  The work was done in one day, the crew was neat and hard-working, and the quality of the fence fully met our expectations.  We paid half up front, and the rest after the fence was completed.  I would use Beitzell again without hesitation - absolutely nothing not to like.
