"We worked with 3 different roofing/gutter companies for quotes. We chose RainGo and feel positive we made the right decision. We had a 25 year old roof on our home. No leaks, but it was time to replace. Tim and his office associate, Susan could not have done a better job of answering our questions, being attentive to any emails and scheduling the job. Tim came to our home and did a thorough inspection. He had multiple samples to show the different types of shingles, costs, life expectancy, etc. (Also provided locations of homes his company had worked on in the area where we could ride by and see the end product.) Steve, his foreman ensured the work was done on time and properly. The whole team made the experience seamless. Our old gutters were really too small for the size of the roof and home. All new gutters with leaf guards were also installed. Our home is surrounded by large oak trees and this was the first year with the new gutters. How nice not to have leaves piled up in the old gutters. We were so pleased with our roof that we asked Tim and his team to install gutters at our church. Again, they did an excellent job (professional, on time, reasonable cost)."

He also was prompt in returning my call to get on the schedule (even responding to me while on his vacation!!). "It has gone very smoothly, I worked with Alfred Pickett, (205) 837-1011, who quoted the job, scheduled the job with one of Authentic Restoration's roofing crews. It is Alfred who stood fast that our roof was damaged and likely that our insurance adjuster would approve coverage payments. This occurred on an incredible day when I coincidentally paid a home inspector to inspect a small area on my roof that another "sub" of mine had patched. Alfred was standing nearby and we didn't say a word that Alfred was a roofer. I asked the Home Inspector to check our roof while he was up there - and he came down and told me the roof was not damaged by hail! When the inspector left, Alfred showed me on his "Tablet" the picture he took of our roof and there were many pale charcoal-colored spots in the picture. This was the hail damage we suspected that occurred in April 2017. Our terrific Cincinnati Insurance Co. paid all of our $40,638 roofing/new gutters bill except a $2,500 deductible that we happily paid. Authentic Restoration performed a great job on our home's roof and (don't forget) gutters. I am so big on Restoration that we got my youngest Stepson's home re-roofed due to hail damage also, and happily this home was covered by Cincinnati Insurance also (hail damage). In addition, I've led, so far, two of my neighbors who own luxury homes with hail-damaged roofs to Alfred and they are getting new replacement roofs covered by insurance. Alfred has also made things easy in doing our two jobs and I am very fortunate that we crossed paths because he has saved my wife and I some serious money and made it easy!!"

"I used this company for a number of years and the overall service is no longer the same. I had them over to clean my gutters and I witnessed ladders slamming against the side of my house and they tore one of the edges from the corner of my roof with their step ladder. I will not use them going forward."

"Highly recommended roofing company! As a first-time homeowner and after hearing some horror stories from friends and family concerning home improvement contractors, I was a bit apprehensive when going through the estimate process. Some contractors 'yes' you to death, try to upsell and then after the work is done, you'll never see them again. Also, sometimes with estimates you are dealing with a salesman not the folks who are actually doing the work. Not true with ABJ! After getting 3 estimates from different companies, Oscar from ABJ came promptly and on time. He calmly walked me through the process, explained the work they were going to do and presented the estimate. No sell pressure what-so-ever and best of all the estimate was thousands below all the others. After agreeing to the terms and selecting shingle type and color, work began right away. Oscar was on-site the whole time with his crew working quickly and efficiently. Work took less than two days and clean up was spotless. The roof looked great, and they even shingled my well house without me asking. (nice touch!) They gave me the left-over new shingles to keep for warranty purposes and to replace any future damaged shingles. Fast forward to ten months later.. After a very hot summer, one of the shingles appeared to bubble up. I gave Oscar a call to discuss why that might happen and he came the next day with his crew to fix the issue. No haggle, no missed calls, just came and fixed the issue no questions asked. I don't normally write reviews, but I feel good companies should really get recognition when they do it right! ABJ is one of those companies which stand by their work, are easy to work with and go the extra mile. Other companies should take note!"

"They did a great job of custom making and fitting a new chimney cap for us. The original was not secured properly by the builder and was blown off and damaged by a wind storm. We have used them before for cleaning and they have always done quality work and are pleasant to work with."
