They also poured a large concrete slab for RV parking and walk way that wraps around the house. Their work is high quality, everything is sloped well and leveled to match the existing structures like AC unit and crawlspace entrance. After a week there was a small area that had issues and Patrick agreed to repair it. I will use them for future projects."

"We recently expanded a deck, added a patio cover, and are putting a hot tub underneath this second floor deck. There was a concrete patio below the existing deck and we wanted to match that, w/ reinforcement for a hot tub. We got a couple bids for the job. Danny was the estimator that came out for Forest and he seemed knowledgeable and was punctual and professional. It was not the cheapest bid, but the company is much more well established than a couple others we consulted so I put more trust in their work. Rigo is the guy we needed to work with on scheduling etc. for concrete work. This was a little rocky at first, but that had a lot to do with us needing to postpone the start till our deck was done, but then also work around a vacation we'd be taking, and make sure the concrete had enough time to cure before our hot tub is dropped. Despite a slight language barrier, we worked it out and even managed to get it done ahead of when we originally scheduled it. Punctuality is impressive with these guys. For 3 days they were waiting outside our house to start at 7:30am precisely. They had to remove a portion of fence and work around some foliage for access. They ended up encountering an unexpected drainage tube of some kind while digging and made sure to create an access point for us if it's ever needed in the future. The concrete looks great and matches our old patio so well, it's hard to tell they weren't poured together. Danny and I (and later Rigo) discussed treating the old concrete to help the matching. At the end of the work they did a great job of cleaning up the area and returning everything to normal. Rigo also helped us by showing us how to remove the fence portion for when our hot tub is delivered and left the top cap off because he said we'd really struggle to get it off if they put it back. I'm happy with the work, communication, and cleanup and trust if there are any problems I will be able to get them resolved. If we have further landscape needs in the future I will def be calling Forest for a bid."

"Dan did a thorough job cleaning up years of moss on my patio and entry steps. He moved lots of pots to clean and returned them where they belonged. He cleaned up the mess of moss completely assuring that adjacent plants were also cleansed. He also repaired a hazard on my concrete entry in a very attractive manner. "They got the extremely difficult marble cuts completed that I could not.  However, your ad states contract work including tile.  Owner (Shawn), stated that tile was not a part of this package.  They went ahead and performed the work anyways.  I was told by one of their PM's Zack via voicemail that "generally factor 20% material waste when cutting tile".  Over 40% was wasted and cuts were extremely chipped, as if pushing the tile through blade too fast.  I've cut enough marble tile to know.  Overall, for a company with a good rating on Angie's List, quality was not up to par, all else was at a C or above.  I would probably just try and finish the job myself next time and avoid SL Green.

"Overall I think Homeowners Concrete is a good company. Our project was not very straight forward, and Mote and his crew had a lot of good input regarding our project plans. I would say Mote, which I believe is a part owner/project manager, has great communication skills. I really appreciated the fact that he would keep me up-to-date on schedule, and would always promptly call me if I ever texted him. The biggest downside, and it's not that big, is the overall attention to detail. I felt like there were a few mis-steps that could have been avoided if they had taken a few extra minutes to double check their work. I compiled two videos. The first one is a collection of photos and timelapse videos that takes you through the entire project. This will give you some insight as to how they work.
