"Patrick and his team are great. They tore out an old asphalt garage floor and poured a new cement floor. They also poured a large concrete slab for RV parking and walk way that wraps around the house. Their work is high quality, everything is sloped well and leveled to match the existing structures like AC unit and crawlspace entrance. After a week there was a small area that had issues and Patrick agreed to repair it. I will use them for future projects."

"Their work was top notch! We first had them replace a bad garage apron and a disintegrating exterior concrete flat pad. Both had been poured incorrectly leading to crumbling. In addition, rain water was puddling in the garage from the apron being slightly higher than the garage floor. HQC identified these issues and replaced both. This included reinstalling chain link fence down one side of the pad. Their teamwork and efficiency is most impressive! The new pours are beautiful and the garage floor is now dry, even during April's record rainfall. Our 2nd HQC project was installing Hardie Plank on an oversized detached garage and a shop to match our house. Again, their attention to detail, communication skills, team efficiency and workmanship are superb. Would we hire them again, absolutely. In fact, we have just hired them to paint the exteriors of our house and 3 outbuildings."

"Concrete by Design did a terrific job on our backyard patio extension and meandering pathway. They made good suggestions for improvements to what we planned and worked with our design requirements. Our lot had a few challenges when it came to installing additional hardscape, but those aspects did not stop them from doing a clean, professional job on our work. "We recently expanded a deck, added a patio cover, and are putting a hot tub underneath this second floor deck. There was a concrete patio below the existing deck and we wanted to match that, w/ reinforcement for a hot tub. We got a couple bids for the job. Danny was the estimator that came out for Forest and he seemed knowledgeable and was punctual and professional. It was not the cheapest bid, but the company is much more well established than a couple others we consulted so I put more trust in their work. Rigo is the guy we needed to work with on scheduling etc. for concrete work. This was a little rocky at first, but that had a lot to do with us needing to postpone the start till our deck was done, but then also work around a vacation we'd be taking, and make sure the concrete had enough time to cure before our hot tub is dropped. Despite a slight language barrier, we worked it out and even managed to get it done ahead of when we originally scheduled it. Punctuality is impressive with these guys. For 3 days they were waiting outside our house to start at 7:30am precisely. They had to remove a portion of fence and work around some foliage for access. They ended up encountering an unexpected drainage tube of some kind while digging and made sure to create an access point for us if it's ever needed in the future. The concrete looks great and matches our old patio so well, it's hard to tell they weren't poured together. Danny and I (and later Rigo) discussed treating the old concrete to help the matching. At the end of the work they did a great job of cleaning up the area and returning everything to normal. Rigo also helped us by showing us how to remove the fence portion for when our hot tub is delivered and left the top cap off because he said we'd really struggle to get it off if they put it back. I'm happy with the work, communication, and cleanup and trust if there are any problems I will be able to get them resolved. If we have further landscape needs in the future I will def be calling Forest for a bid."

"Dan did a thorough job cleaning up years of moss on my patio and entry steps. He moved lots of pots to clean and returned them where they belonged. He cleaned up the mess of moss completely assuring that adjacent plants were also cleansed. He also repaired a hazard on my concrete entry in a very attractive manner. "I called to cancel it because, there was a lot of miscommunication. There was not enough understanding of what I needed and what they were doing. Then they tried to help me out, it turned out OK in the end and it got resolved. It took me a while to call them because, I had surgery. They were responsive and good. What I had done took longer, so I had to pay another $400. I would have done more research, or gotten more bids on it. They were pleasant, and responsible. For me, it would have been better if they had sent someone at first, before they did the job. I would have shown them what needed to be done, and they would have understood me better. They were punctual."

"Overall I think Homeowners Concrete is a good company. Our project was not very straight forward, and Mote and his crew had a lot of good input regarding our project plans. I would say Mote, which I believe is a part owner/project manager, has great communication skills. I really appreciated the fact that he would keep me up-to-date on schedule, and would always promptly call me if I ever texted him. The biggest downside, and it's not that big, is the overall attention to detail. I felt like there were a few mis-steps that could have been avoided if they had taken a few extra minutes to double check their work. I compiled two videos. The first one is a collection of photos and timelapse videos that takes you through the entire project. This will give you some insight as to how they work.
