"First, let me say this is a difficult review to write as it is my first subpar review and Marc is a really nice guy and he has so many excellent reviews on AngiesList.  In March, I contacted Marc regarding weekly lawn and maintenance and to clear some dying azaleas in our front yard.  He gave me  a very reasonable quote for general clean up, sod installation, as well as general clean up.  He also quoted me on weekly lawn service.  He really encouraged me to consider going with his chemical/fertilizer program since they would be there week to week with lawn service.
Marc and his crew did a great job cleaning up the existing landscape and trimming some trees.  I paid him for the service and he promised one more azalea in our front bed by the end of the day when I paid him.  The azalea never came.
As weeks and months passed, our weekly lawn service was erratic.  On the week leading to Father's Day - our lawn was not serviced and overgrown.  I called Marc Friday afternoon to make sure it would be done as we were having people over for Father's Day on Sunday.  He stated it would be done in the late evening on Friday.  It was not as they were too busy and Marc called back Friday night promising it would be done Saturday.  We waited on Saturday and no show. Granted it did rain that day but not until 3:30 in the afternoon.  Our lawn was not serviced until after Father's Day the following week. 
They did do an initial chemical service but I am unclear if any further treatments were performed given the amount of weeds we had all over our lawn.  Incidentally, the beds were overgrown with weeds as well. 
When I finally let go of Marc's service on June 30th, he called to make sure we were straight on transactions as we were as I went ahead and paid him through June.  He apologized and said he understood the reasoning for the cancellation of services.  Again, the super nice guy he is, he stated he would be out the following week with the azalea and even offered to lay some extra seed down on his sod as it was thinning out in some areas.
I never saw or heard from Marc again.  I laid down some seed and our front bed is still with an empty spot awaiting an azalea.  Marc is very nice and easy to talk to.  But his punctuality and broken promises were disappointing to say the least. Father's Day was the tipping point.  If you have one job, they do very good work as echoed with previous reviews.  
I have hired someone else for weekly lawn service and went back and got my old fertilization company after the hassle of canceling earlier in the year.
