We are a small business. That is very detail orientated. My employees, along with myself take great pride in the work we preform. We have very good references from homeowners to contractors that we have worked with for many years.

"Shawn cleaned my house gutters and repaired seams that needed attention. There were trim boards adjacent to the gutters that were showing signs of wear and they were caulked. They will be ready for paint in the spring. Shawn is pleasant. Knowledgeable, and showed up when he said he would."

"I hired David for completion of multiple small projects based on favorable reviews for his work on line. I was not disappointed. The communication with him was excellent, he listened to what we wanted done and did it with high quality. He completed the jobs in a very professional manner. He is multi-skilled and can do everything around your house â plumbing, small electrical jobs, carpentry, painting, up to complete remodels. David is very experienced and can also give you the right advice for future projects. Highly recommend!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in East-boothbay, ME

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
