"We hired Dave to replace an old block ceiling in our spare bedroom with new sheetrock and wood molding and trim to match the other ceilings in our house. He also patched the bedroom walls. In addition, he replaced the exterior plywood soffits on our home with vinyl and installed two vents. Dave was very easy to deal with, he started and finished the work when he said he would. "(This review is not about a wood fence install but I couldn't find a better description in the menu of project selections). The project was actually to install an outside handrail to an existing set of steep, curving concrete steps leading to the front yard. I happened to catch Jim between his other scheduled projects and he can to look at my project the same day I called him. After a discussion on what building materials would be most effective, Jim installed pressure treated wood posts and ballisters to match the existing front entry porch and attached a rounded handrail to the inside of the ballisters for users to grasp. To finish it off, he installed solar post caps on top of the posts again to match the existing caps. (We will paint to match the other wood after the wood seasons). The job was completed the day after I called him for a very reasonable price. Jim is easy to work with and concerned with doing a good job no matter how small the project. I am very pleased with his professionalism, integrity, honesty, and quality of work. I would hire him again."
