"I have used American Clean Air on my two most recent homes.  Many duct cleaning companies claim to clean the ducts, but only reach in from the openings and vacuum what they can reach.  This company has equipment that allows them the thoroughly clean the inside of all ducts, supply and return. And they also clean the furnace itself.  Both times, everyone in my family could immediately feel the difference in our air quality.  When we moved into these homes, 25 and 37 years old respectively, we were breathing in all the dust, pet dander and whatever else of all the previous owners.  Once that was gone, our runny noses immediately cleared up.  In addition to being so thorough with the cleaning, the team also makes any minor improvements to the system they can.  For instance, in my current home, they re-attached two supply ducts that had dropped down from the openings in the floor, and used special heat tape to narrow the openings on other supplies so the grill fit more securely, in both cases eliminating heat loss under the floors, and directing more into the living space.  I could not say more positive things about this company and their workmanship and ethics.  Their price may be a bit higher than others you compare, and that is likely because the scope of work is entirely different.  ACA is the crème de la crème, the absolute best at what they do."

"I just purchased my home, so I was still getting acquainted with my heating and AC unit. I noticed on my iComfort thermostat that my air filter was at 100%, even though I had just purchased and changed the filter. I could not manage to clear the error, which had gone from 20% to 100% and was illuminated in red. Not wanting to cause damage to the newly installed system, I luckily found the name, address and phone number of ARS programmed into my unit, while navigating around. I was not left any paperwork on the unit, so thankfully this information was programmed into the system. It was a Sunday evening, but knowing I would forget to call in the AM, I called and left a message. What was amazing to start was that I received a call from someone at ARS early the following morning (Monday), and I do not mean start time early, as I drive to work at 5:30 AM and it takes me an hour to get to my place of business. Even more amazing was the ability to get someone out to my home that same afternoon by 3 PM. They had all of the information on my unit, as they installed it, so they knew that nothing had been done to the system since it was installed. A very professional and cordial technician named Dan arrived at my residence and took care of the cleaning of the unit and the removing of the filter error. He gave me a brief overview of the heating unit and we also discussed the AC portion of the unit as he noticed the configured settings on the thermostat could cause a potential harmful issue. I cover my outside unit, and the thermostat was set to move to A/C if the temperature reached a certain temperature. As I mentioned, i just moved in, and knew nothing of the system, just that it was an extremely expensive unit. Dan reset my configurations, and explained what changes he was making so that I would know for future. I only paid approximately $300.00, it was actually a bit less, but I do not have the exact amount, because I also purchased a maintenance visit for the spring to get the A/C portion checked, and started, and anther little review. Purchasing both provided me a discount, which is greatly appreciated also. I am very happy the information for ARS was programmed into my thermostat. They are truly a reliable and professional company, and I look forward to doing business with them and Dan in the future - he IS absolutely awesome!"

"I've used this lab four times in the past 10 years,  for occasiional well water testing of my home.  <br /> Originally used/recommended  by the home inspector (before I bought the house).   They send a reasonably detailed report,  although some comments are a little vague (type of bacteria in the water).   However, they encourage you to call and ask questions, and promptly answer the phone,  and are willing to talk as long as you need.    In my particular case,  they gave advice on how to reduce bacteria count in my water,  using an air-tight well cover, etc.    They also sell some well cleaning kits that are reasonably priced. <br />"
