Already, that was a great start and I started to sense that Laurie was a high-quality handyperson. There were 2 items on my list. The first item was sawing a plywood sheath, carrying it upstairs and installing it under a very soft mattress which had been exacerbating back pain issues. The second was fixing a storm door that would no longer close or lock, even though it was only about 1 year old. She is very knowledgeable, offered great suggestions and shared experiences that she’s had on similar work. Laurie did an excellent job carefully measuring, squaring off and cutting the sheath with her saw and avoiding any scratches or marks on a new ping pong table. Laurie got right to work, was efficient and when she was finished, asked if there was anything else that needed attention. She even unscrewed the umbrella on the outdoor table and carried it into the basement for the winter season.
