"I contacted Highland Tree Services because they were highly rated. I needed trimming on all three sides of my back yard due to neighbors’ tree branches hanging over my fences, and my Japanese Maple needed to be trimmed and thinned. Justin came for an estimate and noticed a problem at the crotch of the maple which he treated when he came back to do all the work. Justin and Dan were pleasant and professional and worked very hard in hot, humid weather for hours. All trimmings were removed and put through their chipper. I would recommend Highland for any kind of tree service you might need."

"Very well. 3-4 problem limbs were safely pruned and then hauled away. The 3 man crew was courteous, efficient and after the cuts, other than the new sunlight, one could not even tell they were here. All done on a Sunday afternoon when I had felt I was in dire need to get the offending limbs cut down ASAP. A dreary morning ended the day as a bright day for me all because of the professionalism and efficiency of Ralph and his tree company “Down Right Tree Experts”. Within a short time he and I decided that around 4pm he would send his men (working on another job) out to my home to look over my problem limbs and to take care of them if possible. Great!! The crew of three came, at the time they said they would, evaluated the situation, discuss everything with me, got my permission, and completed the work safely, neatly and effectively. The cost to me I thought was fair and reasonable. The crew cleaned up and carried all parts of the pruned tree limbs away for disposal. One would never know that they were even there. Because of the respect, fair cost and the total satisfactory of the job completion, I would consider hiring this company again!!"

"Communication:  Excellent - From the original contact through the completion of work, Ross Armstrong was very responsive and communicative (most communication was via our preferred method: e-mail).  Prior to starting the work, Ross and his team were very considerate of my concerns.  During the work they kept me informed of "what, how, and when" they would be performing the various steps of the job.  The entire team was pleasant and articulate.
Price:  Excellent - The quoted price was competitive in comparison to the other three quotes we obtained.  An Angie's List Coupon sweetened the deal.
Punctuality: Excellent - At the agreed-upon date and time, Ross and his team arrived, with all necessary equipment, and got right to work.
Performance: Excellent - The tree removal was performed in an efficient, safe, and professional manner.  They worked at a steady pace from start to finish.  There was never a sense they were rushing nor were they ever standing idle.  The tree came down, in pieces, in a very systematic and controlled manner and I never felt that anyone or anything was in danger.  The equipment they used (saws, bucket truck, chipper, grinder, etc.) were all modern and clearly well-maintained.  Upon completion, the job site was thoroughly cleaned before they departed.
Bottom Line:  If you're looking for the excitement/entertainment of having someone come and wave a chain saw around recklessly or want to be surprised as to where the tree falls (or what/who it falls on), call someone else.  If you want someone to do exactly what they say they are going to do, when they say they're going to do it, and do it in a professional and respectful manner, contact Armstrong & Co.
