"Excellent! We needed 4 Timber Retaining Walls that were jointly owned by 6 households (10 people) torn down & Replaced with Stone Retaining Walls. (Not an easy feat with multiple households, one being out of state for an extended period.) However, the paperwork was managed easily by A & J Excavation. All signatures were obtained electronically and work was able to begin. At the jobs completion, everyone was extremely pleased with the quality of the work. Several of us intend on using then again next year for other projects on our homes. Honest, great prices, quality materials, excellent finished product, a 1 year warranty, and easy to work with. What more could you ask for?"

"Tom did our property last year….the entire property, from tearing up a poorly done yard by Kay Builders and completely replacing with it new sod, to building us a wonderful stone patio with lighted block seating walls. They also provided all the landscaping, putting dozens of trees and bushes, replaced a poorly done sidewalk and made a new one out of the same stone from our patio. Tom and his crew were timely, communicated with us readily and their work was top notch….so much so that we were literally the talk of our new development. "Good.  As always, Chris and team worked efficiently to get the job done.  (Scenic Walkways put our original paver patio with sitting wall in in 2006 and we called them back in 2014 to extend our paver patio when getting a pool.  They also came out in Fall 2015 to remove mulch in our front landscape beds and clean them up by removing dead bushes, adding new plants, adding weed block, and red stone.) "Exceptionally. At the time of the quote he made suggestions to improve the end result and also save money by using some existing materials. He sent the estimate on a timely basis, and when the the day came for the work to be done the crew arrived first thing in the morning and completed the job by nightfall just as promised. I have had some nightmare experiences with other contractors that failed to live up to commitments, overcharged, cut corners, or in some cases simply stopped showing up entirely before the job was finished. Not JLS. I cannot think of a single thing they could have done better. They were punctual, professional, and thorough every step of the way. The end result was even better than I'd expected. This summer we took on a very large outdoor project which included an inground gunite pool, paver pool deck, fire pit, paver patio with an outdoor kitchen and bar, and a 20 x 20 covered deck with a fireplace.
