"I'd used TruGreen in the past is why I chose them for my lawn care. I was originally set up on 4-6 week intervals to accomodate my financial needs. Everything was going as planned until I got a fertilization/weed control treatment & aeration in Sep within a week apart. I didn't realize what happened until I received the bill and contacted them to report a duplicated charge. I was told one of the charges included an aeration treatment and was a one time application indicated in the contract. This was not my understanding and must have been in very small print I could not read. When first asked about doing aeration, it was agreed to revisit in the fall. I was not asked, told or suggested this was being done so I got hit with that bill. Customer Service Rep was useless. Her resolution was to send someone out when I mentioned the service was incomplete since the gate was locked and the technician did not have access to my yard."

"Required landscaping architect expertise to assist in developing a plan to update our front and rear yards where we moved into a new development and our lot was a bare postage stamp. Interacted with and interviewed three or four landscaping companies and decided to contract with C.M.L. The project included different phases and are included/discussed for reference. The rear yard was sloped and required a curved 4-foot high by 100-foot long concrete block retaining wall to provide a leveled area. C.M.L. provided the most technical approach on the wall design, installation specifics and final outcome goal above and beyond the other companies. In addition, we required new trees, plants and associated beds in both the front and back yards. We worked with C.M.L. and discussed numerous well thought out designs pertaining to the landscape intended goals and solutions to provide a well-developed outcome. As a byproduct of this large landscaping project the existing lawn would be a casualty however it was explained up front prior to the project start. We added in the required remediation effort (new soil/hydroseed) at the end of the project where our soil was substandard from the builder anyway. The landscaping included new soil, numerous Abortive Thuja family trees, Hinoki Cypress trees, Blue Spruce trees, Rhododendrons, a double-border paver walkway, a granite lamp post and a granite step. Needless to say, this level of effort spanned a few months however the final outcome was just what we envisioned. The project execution was steady without interruption. I've dealt with a few contract companies over time and I was most impressed with the professionalism and courteous nature of the C.M.L. team. If you are considering having work performed I would include C.M.L. within your candidate choices. In fact we do have a few more projects to complete and will contract with C.M.L. without hesitation. Hope this review helps with your future landscaping decisions. Thanks for the read."

"The job went absolutely fantastic. Paul arrived when he said he would. He threw his ear protection on and went to work. He just said and quot;Steve I am going to make this look like FENWAY PARK.and quot; Fenway park he did!!! He did all teh clearing and sub grading which is always a major component to your final finish. Its not always what you see but whats behind it that makes it right!!!!! <br /> <br /> When it came down to the loom he neatly spread every bucket worth of this black gold like soldiers awaiting orders. He then power raked the whole parcel relentlessly hour after hour. I came home to see the progress and was just amazed with how he took such an uneven large piece of land and made it flow as if nature had created it. At the end of the day I thanked him on such a wonderful grading job done. He saidand quot; I am not done yet Steve.and quot; Paul then came back the next day and put finishing touches on the property that well exceeded expectations. As I said I am a man of they utmost attention to detail and Paul brought his A game as always! <br /> <br /> Paul then came back the next day and hydro seeded the entire yard. He made sure his coveragae was in excess of the norm and gave me a strict watering regimen and hydro seed packet. <br /> <br /> Uhhh ohhhh.......Surprise.....We had a major rain storm that next day. I think near 5 inches of rain. Some of the hydro seed washed out wich can happen with such terrential down pours. I was so busy with work I was just happy to get some water on the seed. When I came home one day I saw that there was new hydro seed applied to my lawn. I was amazed. I didnt even have to call him. He just knew that was the right thing to do was to treat any areas that washed out which where minimal but still costly for him to reapply at no cost for me. <br /> <br /> This just shows Paul Parkers ethics. Most people think that a good job can be done good. Paul believes every job must be exceptional as he was taught in the militarty(especially the United states Marines:) and he ensured that his work was meeting his expectations. None the less mine! I couldnt be happier with my new lawn. The grass is growing and the kids are eager to run and play in the lawn. Thank you so much Paul!!!!! <br /> Sincerly <br /> Steve Chorney <br /> <br /> www.southeasterncarpentryinc.com"

"Jim was responsive and professional during the quote phase. Once we agreed to do work and paid 1/3 deposit, he missed the start date and only after multiple calls work finally started. The men who were working at my house were not the men who walked the property with me, and as a result I had to re-explain the job every few days and monitor their work. The project was supposed to take 4-5 days and took 17. Equipment kept breaking and I did not get the sense that the workers had much interest in working or tree care. <br />"

"it went great, the crew was professional and worked through the warmer than usual days. They pointed areas were they had to make adjusments to the plan and how they corrected for issues not previously identified. FAQs for lawn care aeration projects in East Wareham, MA

Aeration is the best way to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant. Annual aeration makes your lawn more breathable and helps nutrients reach the roots, improving water absorption and reducing puddles where pests might breed. However, timing matters. It's best to avoid aerating during droughts, extreme heat, or if your lawn is battling weeds. A local pro can help you determine the ideal time for your yard.

Most lawns benefit from annual aeration to keep them healthy and thriving. If your lawn has a lot of thatch buildup—more than half an inch—you might need to aerate twice a year for a couple of years to get it under control. But if your soil isn't compacted and there's minimal thatch, you might be able to skip a year.

When you hire a professional lawn care company, a standard 10,000-square-foot lawn takes about 30 minutes to aerate. Uneven, sloped, or especially large lawns can take significantly more time. So, depending on your lawn's size and condition, the process can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours.

The best time to aerate your lawn is during the spring or fall when your grass is actively growing and the soil has enough moisture. Aerating once in the spring and once in the fall yields the best results. Avoid aerating when your lawn is dormant or right after heavy rain when the soil is too wet—that can make aeration less effective.

Even if your lawn looks healthy, aeration can still be beneficial. If you have good growth, proper drainage, and little thatch, you might not need to aerate right away. Regular aeration helps water and nutrients reach the roots, keeping your lawn strong over time. Keep an eye on your lawn's condition to decide when it might need aeration.
