" Initially, we contacted the owner Scott Whitelaw in March 2016. Eventually we agreed on the June start time, in June the project started as planned. We needed to have our concrete and brick front steps repaired and replaced with granite slabs.  The concrete was repaired and slabs replace and the concrete was stained. I was concerned about getting the right kind of stain color for the overall look of the project, and Scott worked very well and very patiently with me to see that we were satisfied. The retaining wall is sturdy and survived well from the big trucks of a pavement company. The stairs are wider than before, and more easy for aged people to go up and down. It has a complete new look. The small platform was my most concern. With years of raining, it was no longer flat and not safe. Now, it is filled with concrete. Again, it is sturdy. E&S are enthusiastic with the works. And they are interesting guys. It is really happy to work with them"

For the walkway, Sam even made an asphalt patch to the city sidewalk where the two met. Sam and his team were on time, worked neatly, cleaned up after the work was done.
