"The Job: Work was satisfactorily completed except this vendor should be supervised. -Gate panels replaced were well done and shaped like previous, but were not sanded on top, leaving a 'rip cut' finish. -Fencing Repair completed, post replaced, sagging addressed, BUT dislodged two panels further down the fence...basically, dno ue diligence in checking their work and unintentional impacts. -Minor debris left behind, did not impress. NO SHOW for original estimate request... insisted they had provided an estimate already! They wrongly a**-u-med the address they went to coincidentally on same day was mine (different project)! Attention to customer care missing... Rule #1: NEVER argue with customer / client, specially when you the contractor are wrong! Would not process through Angi Pay, because they are afraid of fraud? Why are they here?"

"When my fifty-six year old 26" wide wall oven quit working I knew it was not going to be an easy replacement as it was built into a ten foot wide chimney with little room for expansion and 26" ovens are no longer made. I didn't want to go smaller so I purchased a 27" oven which required the width and height of the opening to be enlarged. I wanted a mason to do the work, rather than the appliance installer. I found Archstone Masonry on Angie's List and emailed, with attached photos, the company and explained the work needed. Jerrod, the owner, called immediately and set up a date for the work to be done. Jerrod and Dave arrived right on schedule and discussed with me what they would do. Jerrod left when he felt I was comfortable with the work that was needed. Dave worked quickly enlarging the opening and also moving a brick wall inside the chimney. The result was excellent. During installation there was a problem with the bottom trim because of the uneveness of the brick exterior which was not forseen by the installers. I called Jerrod after the installers left and within an hour Dave arrived and made the necessary repairs and installed the trim for me. I am very impressed with how responsive Jerrod and Dave were and the care they took. I am very happy with Archstone Masonry and have recommended them to friends. They were worth every penny spent. ."

"<p>Very professional! The workers were on time and the foreman spoke with us every day to inform us how things were going, what was done and what was to be done that day. They cleaned up at the end of each day.</p> <p>The skylight above the kitchen and the stove vent were not installed correctly and were leaking through the roof causing the roof damage. A! matched the roofing materials surprisingly well and did a high quality job and cleaned up nicely after themselves. They bid aprox. 25% higher, to cover unknowns. "Chris and his employees did a beautiful job installing a 1,400 sq, ft. flagstone patio in our side yard over a 2-week period. They removed sod and dirt wheel-barrowing it to another location in our yard.  They brought in over 20 yards of gravel, compacting it to a slight grade in a location that had 2 slopes (not easy to accommodate).  They kept the jobsite and tools neat when they left each day, and took care to cover our plants and deck when needed for dust protection.  The project was completed a few days early so we had time to build a new deck stairway for a big birthday party. They were receptive to any of our concerns and questions, and very easy to work with.  They took the time needed to do it right, and we are thrilled with it.  We felt they installed it with as much care as if it was in their own yards."
