"I was impressed with how quickly I was able to get an appointment for an estimate.  I scheduled it on line on a Sunday, and they came out on Monday morning.  I was a little worried that all the measurements and calculations were done in a spiral notebook, and I was not shown what had been done.  (Obviously, I should have asked to see in hindsight).  The selections I had for carpet were limited, definitely not like you'd get in a showroom or store, but I found one I liked.  They were able to schedule installation in just a few days.  On the day of the installation, I was told they would call an hour before coming.  I got a call 10 minutes before.  The 2 men who did the installation were friendly, but it seemed like they were really rushing to get the job done.  I found a few nicks in some of my furniture.  Once, a piece of furniture that got moved was dropped so hard, a ceiling vent below it fell out of the ceiling.  When they were done, I had some tool marks on my walls--all up the stairs.  There were a few other marks on the walls as well.  I will definitely need to do some touch up paint.  The carpet does look good and so far I'm happy with it.  I haven't had too many other experiences with carpet installation, so I'm not sure how the work they did and the damage compairs with others.  Overall, I'd rate them as good.  Not quite sure if I'd use them again.

"Prefacing this review with the fact that I'm a bit of a perfectionist, I have to say that I am very satisfied with the quality of the work and the finished product.  The concrete bar top gets a ton of compliments and I love the look and sheen of the finished product.  The backsplash tilework was difficult, as we used some very small tiles that had different finishes (glass, shells, stainless, etc...) and it turned out perfect.  Of course the painting that went along with all of this was well done, crisp edges and Jeremia was great about cleanup during and after the job was complete.
I should add to this review that I had hired him a few years prior to handle some slate tile work in my finished basement along with some stone facing on my fireplace.  He had done such a meticulous job that I thought he deserved a shot at this project.  He was priced competitively and did a great job again.  I definitely recommend The Concrete Moon to others looking for a creative solution to sinks/countertops (concrete!) as well as a high quality job with stone and/or tile.
