"The project went smoothly and efficiently. Greg was great with returning phone calls and being adaptable to the work schedule of me and my spouse. It was a daunting project requiring excavation of an old concrete patio, repairing some foundation on the house, laying a newer bigger paved patio with concrete slab on the side, and also a paved stairway with stone steps going up a hill. Everything turned out even better than expected. He is also true to his word about repairs and the warranty of the patio. A few months after the project ended, we had to have a small portion of the patio pulled up for some electric line work. He had his crew come out to level, lay, and tamp the patio stones back into place free of charge. Would highly recommend."

"It went really well. Al and Corey are both fantastic to work with. I moved into a house where the yard was in rough shape. I talked to several different landscaping companies and decided on Goodfellows after the initial meeting. Al had such great suggestions for tweaking the design and thinking about the project, that I knew I would regret it if I chose someone else. The customer service is really good. Many contractors I have worked with are almost impossible to get answers from, but Al was always on top of everything I asked. The install team worked very hard and took great care when working close to the house to ensure nothing was damaged. He knew all the right materials to recommend at our price point and with our home's style and age in consideration. The team worked long, hot and sometimes rainy days to get the job done on time, but never without compromising quality. They also worked very carefully in tight spaces without damaging anything we didn't plan on removing to begin with and cleaned up the work site at the end of every day. The final result is a beautiful series of retaining walls, steps and sidewalks that are the talk of the block. "If you are looking for paver patios, the installers are great. They did a very nice job, and were professional throughout. They would clean up every day before leaving, addressed any questions we had timely and we are very satisfied with the results. We also added a gazebo to our patio design. It was very clear that gazebo's are not one of their strengths. We encountered many issues with the design and build of the gazebo long before construction began. We had hired Josh in October to complete all elements of the landscaping project the following spring. Over the winter months, we had asked on many occasions for catalog photos, or anything that would confirm what the finished gazebo was going to look like. The pictures were never sent and the only indication of what it might look like came just a few days before the project began and was a very small (1x1) black and white picture. Our expectation of the gazebo was that the material used would be cedar. We had asked for glass windows that could be closed during the cooler and winter months. We were assured on many occasions that cedar material and glass windows were what we were going to get. As they were starting to build the gazebo, the material was not cedar, rather it was pressed wood. As the windows were installed, they were not glass (despite being told that very day they were glass), instead they were a plastic film over the screens. We were left in a very difficult position where we were essentially forced to concede on both elements. While the gazebo is functional, and will suit our needs, had Josh sent just ONE picture sometime in the 5 months or so prior the project start, we may have been able to make a different decision. Related, and something else to be aware of. When trying to reach Josh about start dates, etc I would say he was not always as responsive as I would have expected. Furthermore, there were multiple instances where what was promised was not delivered. Again, if you are looking at a paver or patio project - these guys are great and I would recommend their workmanship. However beware of anything more than that."

"They did a great job. We needed two brick light posts repaired/replaced and Ben, the owner, came out and went over our options and gave us a prompt bid that was a reasonable price. When we decoded to have them do it the process was so easy and automated that it didn't take any time at all to sign the contract and get the work arranged. They even moved us up on the schedule and had the work done in two days. We replaced the posts, and they look so good that they could have been there since the house was built. The clean up after they had finished was great and they even replaced some of the dirt and added grass seed to the area to cover anything they had to dig up. I highly recommend them for any masonry work you may need."

"Lester the owner was on top of the project, he checked in with me on a daily basis and went over the project step by step until completion. I was very satisfied with the quality of work. I had a lot of issues with my back yard with water standing and it was difficult to use the back yard and cut the grass without causing damage. He recommended building French trenches which resolved the issues. The work was done timely and less costly than other companies. I highly recommend him and his team. I gave him 10/10."
