"Great Fence at a Great Price! <br /> Highly recommend! <br /> I hired Van's Fence to install a backyard fence at the home I just purchased in Liberty, MO. <br /> I got 5 quotes and theirs was among the most competitive of the group. <br /> I called and filled out some paperwork, and got on their schedule.  They were about 6 weeks out at the time, which kinda stunk, but it was the same story with all the other vendors, so I can't fault them for this. <br /> I spoke with Gina, and maybe one other lady on the phone, and they were all absolutely great, through the whole process.  Very communicative, polite, and professional. <br /> It rained non stop for 6 weeks in KC, so they were a little behind, but I understand with the record rain. <br /> When it came time to install the fence, they did good work in general.  <br /> The guys had to dig a lot of the post holes by hand because of tons of utility lines and sprinkler system, but they didn't hit one thing despite the land mines everywhere. <br /> They were done in 2-3 days...one day to dig holes, one day to cement the posts in, and another day to tack up the fence. <br /> When complete, the fence looked great.  <br /> On closer inspection, I noticed a few things that weren't perfect, and this is where Van's really showed their colors as a company that you want to deal with. <br /> There were a few stray nails protruding, one post was a little shy on cement, and two of the three gates were a little shy of 4' which was ordered, and my mower couldn't pass through. <br /> The first two items were my being nitpicky, but the gates were important.  <br /> I emailed Van's and let them know, and THEY WERE INCREDIBLE! <br /> The sent their best guy out the very next day, and he began the process of fixing all of it. <br /> He even had to tear our a post, and rebuild a gate, but he did amazing work very quickly.  He was also super professional and polite, asking me if everything was to my liking all along the way. <br /> Everything doesn't go always go perfect the first time, but Van's really stepped up, and made things right. <br /> Can't recommend them enough. <br /> I have an amazing fence at a great price! <br /> Thanks Van's! <br /> <br />"

We cannot get a response or a fix and have been trying to fix it for the last several weeks. The gate is supposed to be insured but we cannot get a response. So....everything up to this point was WONDERFUL but now our fence isn't usable because we cannot get through the back gate. Wish they would follow up with this part of service!"

"WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THE COMPANY IS THAT THEY DID A GOOD JOB, AND PUT IT UP AS THEY SAID THEY WOULD. ONE THING A LITTLE ODD THAT HAPPENED WAS THAT SINCE THE FENCE CROSSED A PORTION OF A FLOWER BED, THEY PLACED IT SO THAT THE LILY BULBS WOULD NOT BE DUG OUT. PERHAPS A SURPRISE WAS THAT THESE FOLKS WERE SO FRIENDLY. BE PREPARED FOR NICE FOLKS AND GOOD WORKERS. I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK OVERALL."

"It went very well.  Mark was prompt and professional and garunteed that the dogs would not get out or get caught.  When he was finished it looked great and there is no opportunity for the dogs to get out or get caught.  He was patient with me when I inspected the finished product and promptly fixe one place where I thought maybe they could still get a head in.  The price was a little higher than I expected, but other estimates came within that range...so I suppose it was reasonable.  It also took a little longer than I expected, but overall it was a painless process and I'm very satisfied with the end result. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to install a fence."
