"I originally asked for a bid on taking out old fence and replacing with a new vinyl fence. The quote I got was for just the new fence. In later discussion after I had told them to go ahead I realized that they were not including the removal of the old fence. So they added an amount to cover that which was still less than other bids in total. <br /> They did great work on time as scheduled. Mark was very professional and followed up as promised. The fence looks great and seems very solid. <br /> The reason we decided to get the vinyl fence over a new block one was that a nearby tree root had grown upward and had broken up the block wall. We wanted the vinyl because it could be built with a gap at the bottom that would allow for that upward root movement. The problem is going to be that what was designed to be a three inch gap ends up being only a one inch gap where the root is. Which means we are still going to have to deal with that tree eventually. Would have been good to know that measurement before the job started. <br />"

"I wish they had given us a bit more information when asking where we wanted the gate and how that effects the placement of the double connecting poles, We wound up having a set of connecting poles right in the middle of our greatroom picture window which was not acceptable. It cost an additional $800 to change the layout of the fence to move the double poles out of view from the greatroom. I little more time explaining the layout based on our gate location choice and we would have selected a different location for the gate. The $1700 project turned out to be $2500."

"We had a great experience with Arizona Pool Fence. They were upfront on the phone about price when I called to inquire initially and they were able to schedule an in home estimate fairly quickly. The fence install was 2 weeks out from once I called to schedule, I wish it could have been sooner but all fence companies were 2-3 weeks out so it was expected and can't fault them on it. On the day of install the installer was early to the house, he went over the plan with me and got to work. After measuring the holes he gave me two options for the gate location which he didn't have to do but I'm happy he went out of his way to ask. I was amazed at how fast he worked, he installed approximately 70 feet of fencing in 6 hours or so (that included five 90 degree angles). He cleaned up once he was done, went over all the specs of the fence, gave me all the information I needed and was on his way. The fence looks great and I'm super happy we went with this company. Would definitely recommend them. I've attached a photo (ignore our dead grass and dirty yard) - we went with 5' brown/brown. It looks so much better in person as it's hard to get the whole fence in a single photo."

"Bill arrived exactly on time and quickly assessed the items we needed to have fixed. Interior french door was adjusted (needed to fix the door jamb, adjust door to close properly. Installed a new vent fan in one bathroom and replaced light switches in garage. Quality work and would request Bill when in need of any additional handyman services. Cost noted included parts and 2 hours of service."

"Once the Handyman got here, it went well. However, the appointment was scheduled for Friday, May 30 at a window of 12-2pm and at 1:30pm he called and said that he had gotten tied up at the job he was currently at and would call me when he was done. I received a call around 3pm in which he said he was on his way and based on where he told me he was, was about 30 minutes away. He asked if it was ok with us if he grabbed some lunch and of course, we said it was totally ok, but evidently it wasn't drive-thru because he did not show up to our house until a little after 5pm. After showing him the project we had [installing a ceiling fan in our master closet - cheapest one at Lowe's], he got on the phone to check in with his company and get the quote but no one was answering so we were sitting in our kitchen until he got a call back. <br /> He finally got a call back by about 5:45pm and gave us our quote [which was REALLY reasonable!!! Install and drywall repair for $90]. We approved it but what we didn't realize was that we would be responsible for the supplies. So after we signed the quote, he gave my husband a few items that he would need. My husband ran to our local Ace Hardware, picked up what he thought was what was needed and rushed back. Was not the correct stuff and there were now additional items to pick up. My husband then ran out to Home Depot and collected everything that was on the list and called me before leaving Home Depot to ask the repair man if there was anything else. <br /> After all of the supplies were provided, a sheet to cover the floor was provided by us [drywall was going to be cut out of the ceiling], the Handyman got to work. Though he completed the job BEAUTIFULLY, it was after 8pm on Friday night that he finished. It took a little while, but my husband found the conversation entertaining and the fan works perfectly while the drywall repair was flawless! <br />"

"Karl did an excellent job with extending my 4' block wall up to 6' with a 2' extension of wrought iron. He had to fabricate individually different sections due to varying heights. He was responsive, organized, on time, and kept in touch. His price was the best of 3 other fence companies I looked at. I highly recommend him."
