"I bought a CASSIO DESIGN BUILD home in late 2006. I was drawn to the house for its unique, modern design and quality workmanship. I loved living in the home and have had no problems or issues. Everything looks and functions as it did on day one. I kept in touch with CASSIO DESIGN BUILD over the years and utilized Jim's services numerous times, from installing an over-the-range microwave, to laying flagstone for a courtyard, to designing and building a cash-wrap for my small business, Domino Home. Perhaps the biggest job I had him dos an entry-way enlargement, which included a wall/door blowout, pouring concrete, electrical, lighting, and drywall. Jim was very helpful in the design and execution of the project. All of his sub-contractors were very professional. The project was done on time and under budget and I couldn't be happier with his work. I will continue to keep CASSIO DESIGN BUILD on file for future work since the work is reliable and of good quality. Jim's eye for design and work ethic make him a General Contractor of exception"

"My husband and I hired James Hood to remodel my parent's bathroom. We initially had two people that we were going to interview for the job, but after meeting James, we cancelled the other interview. We were very confident in the meeting that he was the right person for the project. He responded with a written estimate quickly and worked with us to get the job started right away. We live overseas and were just about to wrap up our visit. He understood our unique situation and handled it professionally. I specified clean, simple, white. However, as he got to know my parents and spoke to them, he realized that more needed to be done and he was able to change the design slightly and give them a stunning off white bathroom tile that they are immensely pleased with. I was kept updated with comments and photos and I have no doubts that we left the job in very capable hands. My elderly parents were very impressed with James. He showed up on time and with a smile, he worked quickly and quietly and with as little disruption and mess as possible. He took the time to talk to my parents and even the young grandchildren liked him and looked forward to seeing him. James completely gutted their bathroom, removing the old whirlpool tub that my parents could barely get in and out of and installed and beautifully tiled a walk in shower with safety rails. He removed the horrible vinyl flooring and replaced the sub floor and repaired water damage from a leaking toilet. He installed a new toilet and flange, vanity, sink, light fixtures, power outlet and bathroom door. The floors were tiled in a complimentary color to the shower while the vanity, walls and all the fixtures were still the requisite white. My husband and I are very thankful for his hard work and respect and would without hesitation hire him again and recommend him to anyone. If you are looking to hire a man for a job, I believe that James Hood is that man."

Handy company on 12/21/20, They began work IMMEDIATELY, SAME day, NO waiting which is crucial because no one wants to wait Especially for a quote and No one wants to wait weeks out to get a job done, seriously. WHAT impressed me the MOST about this company??? Answer: I made it VERY CLEAR in my written description and my verbal phone calls to various companies on Angies List that I wanted this project done in one or two days and I didnt want to wait for days and weeks down the line because a company was backed-up with current projects and appointments and not only did J.S.T. Handy call me IMMEDIATELY first thing in the morning, they actually CAME TO MY HOUSE first thing in the morning to give me a quote the same day.. WHO does that??? J.S.T. Handy does!!! and then after really LISTENING to what I wanted done and not only stating they could DO the job, they even offered OTHER POSSIBLE visions as well to give me a variety of choices to fit my vision and budget and gave me options that I didnt even think of which was amazing and the icing ON the cake was "WE CAN START IT TODAY RIGHT NOW IF YOU LIKE" ....
