"Met with Midwest Roofing agent Lexi at Home Show to schedule a roof inspection. She was out quickly and provided a video of the roofs condition. She met with us on time to go over various roofing options. She always provided the information we requested in a reasonable timeframe. Ultimately we moved in a different direction and did not use this company but it was not through any fault of their own. . "

"The crew at Elite Roofing gave me an estimate for repairing my damaged roof that was the result of a bad install from a prior company. The roof had already leaked in several places so Elite Roofing did an outstanding job getting me into their schedule as quickly as possible. They were also very understandable about my budget issues and worked with me to get a great looking roof at an affordable cost. Their professionalism and work etic are in my opinon among the best I have ever seen. I look forward to doing business with them again. Thank's Angie's List for helping me find them. <br />"

"Very professional. They were extremely careful to clean up after themselves. There was a pop up shower while they were roofing and something g slid off the roof onto a rose bush. They immediately replaced it."

"Project went very well, 1 layer of roofing was removed and impact resistant shingles were installed. Receipt showing payment for the purchase of roofing materials by Thompson from the suppling vendor was promptly sent to me upon request. The presentation packet given to me at the beginning of the project showed proof of insurance ."

"Ron and Rich showed up on time <em>or early</em> every day. They worked steadily from 9am-4pm and cleaned up after themselves after each day's work. The work was delayed by weather for 1 day, but was otherwise moving exactly as planned. Ron & Rich obviously work together often because they are in constant communication and their respect for each other's work and knowledge is obvious. <br /> The windows went in, look beautiful and the 3-lite slider idea was just short of genius. I paid the bill happily and then my partner & I compiled a list of other things we wanted Ron to do for us. <br /> Since the first visit, Ron & Rich have installed laminate floors for us, insulated our attic and garage, and vented the attic. He is coming back next week to replace most of the windows, install security lights and powerwash/paint the house. <br /> In every instance, Ron has offered (gentle) opinions about what he thinks will work best, and we will often accept his suggestions. He always outlines his plans ahead of time and if there was any question at all, he was right there to explain, often in person, and to allay our concerns or answer our queries. His estimates are spot-on, as are his time commitments. He is very communicative, often more so than we are. Ron and his team are professional, courteous and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a handyman, stop searching and call Ron. There is little point in doing anything else if you want the work done. well <br /> I read the "D" review below and this sounds nothing at all like the Ron Lauer we've worked with for nearly a year. For our part we plan to invite Ron to our house "re-warming" party once all the work is done so we can introduce him to all our friends and corner the market on his services. <br /> Well done, Ron. May you have many happy years of good service and delighted customers. You may count us among that very large group."

"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

"November 2013, we had a neighbor put a new metal roof on our manufactured home and installed new skylights. Excel totally fixed his major messed up job!! They were a pleasure to work with, fair, courteous, cleaned up after themselves. Biggest regret? Not having them do the job in the first place!!"

"First let it be known that I have waited a period of time after completion as I wanted this to be a honest not a plain and acirc;??P***** Offand acirc;?? review. Details: my start date was set for the contractor to be out first thing on 5/28/14. I took the week off from work to be sure that anything that was needed to be done by me could be handled immediately. When the sub-contractor (not verified subs but they kept taking phone calls for what sounded like non-Siding Repair Systems jobs) on my time. They did not arrive and I called a bit frustrated that no one showed and Cory the and acirc;??Bossand acirc;?? said the current job they were on they ran into a mold problem. I told them that they could come out the next day then and was told they would be there. I believe I should have at least received a phone call explaining they could not make it and to ask for a re-schedule. That did not happen on day 2 or day 3. I was asked if they could pay the installer double time and if I could be there on Sunday. I was OK with that and they did not show at the arranged time of 9-10 oand acirc;??clock. So I called Cory yet again (about 5 times now making this same call) and he did not have much to say but he would call them. Finally they showed for the first time walked around the house a bit and left saying they were to get the materials that should have been on their truck before they showed up 3 hours late. When they got back and started removing the old siding they left the house open to the elements and it rained heavily that night. Next day (Monday) they did not show ti Mid-afternoon again and that was the way the whole thing was. They did a couple hours and left. However my wife works a big box hardware store and she Note that the siding they were putting up did not look like the James Hardie siding we were paying for. I challenged them on that and when they looked they realized that they made a mistake. Now I thought to myself if it would not have been for the observation of my wife they would have completely sided the house with the wrong material and charged us for the Hardie siding and if we were normal consumers we would have never known. Makes one wonder if that is a new and acirc;??bait and switch and acirc;?? tactic? Then they had to go get the Hardie Siding and the boss Cory calls now that they were caught with the wrong stuff 50% on the walls and asks if I would be willing to take the lesser siding at a lesser price. I said no as I and acirc;??trusted themand acirc;?? to do the right thing. Finally after 3 more days of being late and 3 strong rain storms the job was done. It does look good BTW canand acirc;??t fault that I guess. To end the story I have to make 2 more calls for them to get the trash completely removed and that was only after I threaten them by having American Express withhold payment. I would not recommend this outfit to anyone. I lost 24 hours of vacation due to them not showing up as promised, the trash left around my house, and the and acirc;??presumedand acirc;?? mistake of the wrong siding. I read all the previous reviews on Angieand acirc;??s List and based on my experience I tend to believe they are forgeries. BEWARE is my only warning!!!!!"

"Every step of my experience with Midwest Lifetime Roof System, Inc. has been beyond reproach. A plus service. From the minute I first called Cary Babinec for an estimate on the phone, I had top rate service. Cary facilited a fast, responsive, accurate, informative and professional estimate. He was a delight to work with and even offered to tour homes that had a Gerard roof to help select color. That was imporant since this is a lifetime roof. Midwest Lifetime Roof Systems, Inc. is one of those rare companies that inspires customer satisfaction based on excellent communication and reliable, professional, and beautiful workmanship. The office personnel (Beverly), foreman (Carols), job foreman (Jorge) and work crew were all just great. I cannot say enough good things about my entire experience, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new Gerard roof. Thank you! <br /> It just so happens my neighbor had his roof replaced the very same week I did (his third one in 20 years). Needless to say, my neighbors are jealous and wish they would have known about this company before they had signed with another contractor. I highly recommend this company for superior service and workmanship. Why would anyone want another roof when they could have a Gerard Roof System? It's just the best. I enjoy leaving and coming home each day just to look at it. <br /> <br />"
