"We hired Allied to install a fence and gate in our backyard because they are a local business and we trusted their good reviews, Better Business Bureau grade, and their two-year craftsmanship warranty. A few months after the installation, the gate started to loosen, and the gate latch became unusable (see photos) though we used it sparingly and had no external weather damage; the gate will not close anymore and we cannot put a lock on it. We use cinder blocks to keep the fence closed now. We emailed Allied and sent them photos and Carlos replied that it would be fixed “by the end of the week or the next week” (this was in June). He did not reply to our status inquiries in the subsequent weeks, but we received a call and email from project manager Garrett who offered to help months later. We texted him photos of the fence and he said, “we need to get this fixed for you” and acknowledged on the phone that we were in the two-year warranty timeframe. Since then, Allied has not fixed the fence nor provided any information about when they intend to honor their warranty. The project manager has repeatedly asked “did Allied install it” and “what’s your last name again” though our email chain included the original invoice and our names listed on it. Allied Fence and Security advertises quality work, great customer service, and a two-year craftsmanship warranty, but we are left with a poorly made and unusable gate and experienced bad customer service, plus not following through on their two-year craftsman ship warranty. For these reasons we question Allied Fence and Security’s reputation and trustworthiness, and we give them a one-star review. We would not recommend them and regret hiring them."

"You get what you pay for with these guys. I went through an extensive bidding process a little over two years ago (it's amazing what different companies will charge for the same product LOL) and ultimately chose AFR in May 2022. I was ecstatic that they had a crew that would be available and ready two days after I accepted their bid. They showed up on time and got straight to work. The initial work looked great, and the "owner" at the time, Juan, even came by to address the areas I was dissatisfied with (poor alignment, etc.) before the job was 100% done. I should have been more persistent about the staining job though post-construction b/c the guy wasn't quite thorough enough. By Christmas, construction flaws had already begun to rear their ugly heads. Gate construction ended up being total s***. Poor spacing and inadequate hardware resulted in one of the gates not working properly within just 6 months. It then took MONTHS to get a response from AFR, but they finally came out to "fix" the problem gate. That repair was again total s***, and I had to hound them again to come out and fix their fix. By this time, the second gate also began failing. They finally came out shortly before Christmas to address both gates. The initial bad gate received its third round of construction and seems to be doing well, but I've got a sneaky suspicion it's already begun to weaken. The second gate that received its first repair the same day is now worse than when the guy came to fix it. SMH. The gate cannot even close b/c the hardware has completely stripped the wood and is hanging out. I have to prop the gate with heavy stones to keep in place and prevent from completely ripping off the post. On top of the gate issues, time has revealed that the guys who did the initial construction rushed the board-on-board part and had insufficient spacing in several spots b/c I can now see through my fence in multiple spots when the whole point of doing board-on-board is so that does not happen!! I sent them an email two weeks ago about it and have yet to hear back. I even forwarded that email back to them again yesterday morning. Crickets. So be mindful. While their pricing was the best, the quality of work was very disappointing."

"Probably the worst experience I've had contracting a job out. Replaced a lot of fencing but did not make the gate wide enough as per our contract, so the mower would go through. Multiple, multiple unreturned emails and calls and a month later I finally had to go through BBB.He responded then and same BS as a response he gave here to another review, that he was out of town and was unreachable. Funny part, I emailed him from another email pretending to ask for a bid and got a prompt response during that time. He finally responded to BBB complaint but stated I never paid, even though the check was handed to him in person. I had to go pay my bank for a copy of the check as proof. Eventually he fixed the gate by cutting the supporting brackets in half and compromising the integrity. That took further pressing through the BBB to fix. He can do go work but you do not need the headache of dealing with such a person if issues come up. There are plenty other companies whose work is great and know how to stand right."

"ABC Fence Company is contracted to install fences for Pulte Homes. I have been living in my new build for < 5 months, and the fence is already falling apart. ABC uses substandard product and is inconsistent with what they use. The cross sections are of varying sizes and posts are already splitting; and they used different materials on my neighbors fence. Their excuse was they "ran out of my material." Their warranty dept inspected the fence and claimed the splitting sections are structurally sound, and that they will not be replacing any part of the fence. I presume this is an example of the lowest bidder."
