On the day of the job, they came early and worked quickly and thoroughly, removing the old roof, checking for wear and damage, and installing the new roof. They repaired damaged wood, installed an attic ventilation exhaust fan, caulked gaps in the chimney, and put a new ridge vent over the storage room part of the carport. "I met with Mike and we discussed the details. The house was being sold and had a "Pending" contract so the time requirements were very short. I received quotes from two other roofers and Mikes quote was very competitive. We decided on the requirements and type of shingles for the roof. He chose the color to match the others in the neighborhood and that turned out to be important for the HOA approval. His crew arrived on the day of the job and had it completed the next day. The work was great, the process was great and the house sold and passed inspection without an issue. "DAV Construction was hired to replace a damaged roof and gutters. They did a professional job of discussing the bid with me. However, this was more than a roofing job. I had an issue with water seeping through my second floor brick that continued to damage my interior and patio cover. We all thought it was a poor trim installation. Alex took a hard core position of helping me correct the problem. We had to repair any openings in the existing brick and applied a water sealant. I even had a phone call several months later after a heavy rain storm to see if we had any visible leaks. All was good and the extra effort was was high on the scale of taking care of the customer. I would personally recommend Alex and his team to anyone."

"I was disappointed to find at the end of the service that my home was to far away for this company to provide any additional service. It took 2 follow-up calls to find this out and waiting for a return call to find this out. Sad because I liked the 2 professionals who came out. A little courtesy goes long way. I had to call them to setup the original service date and they hemmed and haughed then too - said they told Angie's list there was a limit to how far they would go and this was too far. I gave them the option to give me my money back - but they wouldn't do that. Sorry but I was disappointed with the professionalism of the office staff, owner and project manager who finally called me back."
