"I chose Advanced Restorations for water proofing my basement after seeing their 5 star rating on the BBB , from the top the owner Mike , to sales rep Marty and the workers Kendrick and his crew were all they claimed to be . Basement Wizard employees were on time and very friendly. Since these employees were not involved in the original inspection and job estimate I showed them the two areas that needed to be repaired and described the problem.  I also pointed out how important it would be to control the dust which I knew would be created during the repair.  I was assured that the area would be enclosed and air cleaners would be used to control the dust.  Upon completion of the repair I was shocked to find that my entire basement was filled with a dust cloud.  Everything in the basement was covered in a layer of fine powder.  I contacted the original estimator (employee) who offered to have the crew return and clean my basement.  I told him that I had no confidence that they would perform an adequate job and I would perform the cleanup myself.  A couple of weeks later after a heavy rain event one of the "repaired" cracks leaked just as it did before the repair.  A second crew (which included a foreman) was dispatched to preform a second repair attempt.  The second crew did a much more professional job and their repair appears to have stopped the leak so far.  My disappointment with Basement Wizard is not with the fact that it took two attempts to complete the repair.  My issue is that I was assured by the original estimator and the repair crew that they would control the dirt and dust during the repair process.  They failed in this promise and I spend many hours cleaning up after them.

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"Everything went very smoothly, considering the circumstances. It's never easy when you have water damage in your house, but Darrin and his team (Jeff and David) did an outstanding job. They were always professional, but also warm and understanding. I could reach Darrin whenever I needed. His billing system is very clear and easy to understand, which was very helpful when comparing his invoices to our insurance reimbursements. My house actually looks better than before the flood! From the date of the burst pipes to finished work was about six weeks. We had to coordinate around my work and travel schedule, as well as carpet and flooring people, and Darrin made everything very workable. I trusted his team enough to leave them at the house if I had errands. The quality of the work he and his team did was outstanding. My new stairs are especially beautiful.

"Took a piece of tile to Jeff to test in a lab and provided complete lab report on findings.  It only took a couple of days for the whole thing to take place.  I was very comfortable and pleased that we knew what it was so we can move forward with cleaning the asbestos.  Jeff advised on the options available.  When I asked for clarification he got with me right away to help explain things for me. He was very informative."

Working with light materials like vinyl siding and aluminum facia on a 7/12 pitch roof was tough for the boys to accomplish their repairs, it took a little longer than planned, but repairs were made, and all scrapes and materials were removed from the grounds."

"Excellent. This experience was the best I have had hiring outside help. After it was installed, I had some concerns and asked Aaron to come by. He came over on a Friday evening and to my surprise, agreed and quickly went above and beyond to remedy the situation. He was understanding and agreed with my concerns. Later I was worried about a sound I was hearing coming from the sump pump. He came up on a Sunday and turned out it was my old pump (not the new one they had installed) that was making the noise. He removed it and clearly explained why it was making the noise. The perimeter drain, pump, and dry well that they installed have all worked great since the installation, which was nearly 9 months ago now. It was very clear making sure a job was completed well and with integrity was important to him. It was comforting to know I was working with a company who valued customer service and doing a job well. Their prices were more reasonable than the 3 other companies I had estimates from. I would definitely use them if needed in the future."
