"The crew came on May 8, 2012 and immediately began to to do the work. They were very professional and did a great job in a timely manner. They explained what they were doing and showed us how to operate the lighting after the job was finished. They cleaned up after the work was done. You could not even tell they were there. The work area was so neat that you could not even see any signs in the rock landscaping that anybody was working in the area. It was very gratifying to have a job performed and not have to do any clean up after the job is done. "The Vitex team headed up by Jason Levin was in a word outstanding.  It was a collaborative effort with the builder and their knowledge of state of the art equipment and software was exceptional.  In a project the size of mine there are the inevitable hiccups however Vitex's ability to understand the issue, send the appropriate technician and modify or correct the issue exceeded my expectations.  Another important note, they were more than happy to work with customer supplied equipment as well as equipment they supplied. "Billy Serapiglia, the owner of Outdoor Solutions, was recommended to us by two different friends here in Louisville. My wife and I had just moved here from out of state and bought our home which needed a landscaping makeover. Our friends both said Billy was a hard worker, fairly priced, and did what he said he would do and when he said he would do it. We met with Billy and found him to be an articulate individual with a passion for his work. We were impressed by his knowledge of botanicals, landscaping design, and the fact that he was a good listener. He took pictures, measured, placed plant location flags, and drew up a design layout for us to review. We liked what we saw immediately, made one color change on one of the perennial selections, and hired him to do the job. His plant selection (at two different nurseries) which ranged from trees to shrubs to perennials was outstanding. Billy does not get a job and then disappear and have others do the work unsupervised. He works along side of his workers throughout the job. We were very impressed with the work done to make our new home look outstanding. "Overall I give Payne a 'B'. The work was largely satisfactory, and passed a city inspection. I have a background in electrical stuff, and am convinced that all pertinent safety and quality guidelines were followed. I have two minor complaints: First, two of the new outlet boxes were poorly installed, due to sloppy openings cut into the plaster walls. Having blown their ability to mount the new boxes properly to the wall itself, the installers instead used drywall screws into an adjacent stud. The result was boxes and their contained outlets or switches hanging at obviously awkward angles, with LOTS of wiggle when used. Second, I had confirmed verbally with the estimator, and corrected the version of the quote I signed and returned, that two existing outlets would be not just moved, but rewired with a ground. The installers weren't provided with this updated information, and instead two ungrounded GFI outlets were installed. This is to code, but not what I agreed to."
