"Dan and his crew did a great job! Dan responded right away to our first request for an estimate and provided advice on the type of fencing most appropriate for our purposes. We installed a privacy fence and due to the fact we have fences on both sides a zero maintenance vinyl fence was installed which looks great. Our only issue was a post was scratched during the installation process which may be unavoidable. The prices was fair for the work and done very professionally. "We hired them to custom build a fence in our backyard, to match our neighbor's fence in design and style. When digging the post holes, they managed to break a piece of our house siding off. Furthermore, many post holes were dug on our neighbor's property (despite surveyor's stakes) and had to be removed and reinstalled. Things didn't get better as the project progressed. First, despite assuring us they would be able to match our neighbor's fence, the fence they built was a foot shorter and the custom design was very poorly executed. After negotiations, we ended up with a nice fence as long as you don't know it is supposed to match the neighbors. The office staff were always very pleasant and professional. They paid for and coordinated repairing our siding. Overall though, we would not use this company again.

"Very happy with owner, salesman, and work crew. They rescued me after another contractor started the fence, then walked off the job. They put up most of the fence in the winter, put up temporary fence in the spots that could not be done due to the season, then returned in the spring to finish. They were very considerate of my indecisiveness by making suggestions that would fit my needs. They were very tolerant of, and pleasant to, my two obnoxious dogs. "The workers arrived on time and did an excellent job. There were a couple hiccups. They ordered the wrong brand/color of aluminum wrap that was sent to the job site, but promptly went out and got the right stuff and still finished in about four hours. They were professional and efficient. We also had a difference over the quote that was given and the actual bill. The owner Joe Hoffman, promptly rectified the matter and adjusted his bill to reflect the quote, even though this resulted in personal loss for Hoffman Weber. Joe is a pleasure to work with and he will do whatever it takes to please his customer. We have recommended him to our friends on many occasions, all with great feedback. "Dennis is great.  When I called him to get the work done, he was very busy, but he worked with my schedule to find a time to squeeze me into his. 
There was a lot of work, all of it in frankly unrewarding small pieces.  This is the kind of work we all have around our house, needing to get done, but not every painter that you call in is willing to do it.  Dennis is extremely patient and willing to add extras on to the original project when you belatedly discover that there is more to be done.  I discovered some damage to my exterior paint work the day before Dennis and his crew came over--they hadn't brought a tall enough ladder with them, but were great about the extra trip that had to be made to get it.
The bottom line--Dennis (and his crew) are extremely professional and great people to work with.  I've worked with Dennis on various parts of my home for the past six years: ceilings (and ceiling repair), the complete exterior, rooms, sills, trim and walls.  Every time he has been out, he makes it easy for me.  The job is always done right, if issues occur he fixes them, and his clean-up is meticulous.
